Real Robotics Discussion / Re: WTF Moments in Robot Combat

Hyperactive vs Gloomy fits here I think:

Anyone know exactly what happened here? I can't for the life of me figure what light up so destructively. It looks almost as if there was compressed air tank it in filled with hydrogen.

Fire is scary. I like it. ;D
Massive amounts of sparks + Possibly flammable internals = A fire greater than a junkyard flamewar.

Wait, is Jonzu actually gay?
Just asking.
He's pansexual.
If that's the case, I'd have to commend Jonzu's willingnes to share that with the rest of the forum.
It's hard for people to reveal that kind of thing to others, so cheers to him!

In one of my posts about this tournament, I included a link to my entry, Mauler 2000.
Has it been accepted?

I'll probably try those a diferent time.
At the moment I DESPERATELY need to learn BFE'ing, for making cut off wedges and other unusrual chassis shapes.
I'm a quick, visual learner, so it won't take forever.
I may be the forum autistic, but I'm like a savant at times.

Excllent take at No Tolerance. I'd give it angled extenders at the front so it can actually get under things.
I would if I could, but the rule of 7 got in the way. :rage

No Tolerance, calling it now
DAMMIT!
How did you know?
(Image removed from quote.)
(Then again, there's not that many Lightweight walkers in BattleBots anyways.)
Dude, you're probably going to be one of the best reps-makers ever! Along with Resseti, of course. BTW, I love how you're doing some Battlebots replica's, since I prefer Battlebots over RW. Makes me smile everytime, dude.
I'm glad to hear.
I also personally prefer Battlebots over Robot Wars, since that's what I grew up with.
Here's M2K02, Mauler's lesser known bigger brother:

And here he is chillin' with his little bro, Mauler 2000:

The Master looks sweet! How'd you get it to torque-react?
For some strange reason, in DSL3, when you connect wheels, with each wheel larger than the previous, it seems to function the same way it would if you just used discs.
That's really all I can think of.
Also, here's Mauler 51-50:

Just got finished.

Here's some LONG OVERDUE Battlebots replicas:
Locust(S5 Version):

And a fully functioning torque-reaction replica of The Master:

Expect more to come. :gunz:

If you can AI, try and make a personal AI pack for yourself to practice with, and gradually upgrade the AI bots as you get better.

Oh man, this looks so cool Click. Nice to see you again. Is this how you made Thunder Cloud 3 with that thunder background in the snapshot?

It's kind of embarrassing how little effort it took.
That's what I call talent.
No need to be emberrassed.

I don't know why i made that last post, I DO need custom components, and BFEing is a high priority, so until then, there's not much else I can do. :frown:

Hey Badnick, I was wondering, when this series is finished, could you release all the robots in an AI pack?
Or at least put the replicas up for download?
