You still get it in Northern Ireland and Scotland, Wales has deducted the amount you get and England has scrapped it completely.

**** EMA, seriously. Money for turning up to something you have to do if your parents don't earn lots. I know someone who got EMA even though their family were millionaires... because they had no income. Why would they have income. They don't need it.

Im glad I get EMA cause it gives me another reason to go to Tech. But the ****ing problem are those who come in sit on their asses and do piss all but watch youtube. I think is should be only as a reward for those who go in and actually do work. Do nothing to get money, when you're young you would love to do that but at 17 I always think it is satisfying to do work and get EMA. Hence the reason why I think those whose dont work should be barred from EMA.
