I still like the Moros Blade the most, the disc looks a bit ugly. The normal bar looks good, but I don’t think it’ll be as damaging as the other 2 options
Nothing wrong with the skin, and I really love the way it looks. However, I think if you could make the name stand out a bit more, it would make it look a better
Any of these look better? I'm leaning towards the one on the right (maybe with Desert-coloured Typhoons, if Hop's pack has them). As for the skin, the underlying camo pattern will stay as it is. I just need to shrink the name down a bit and make it clearer, and move (or remove) the slots for the wheels.

Aaaaaanyway... having bought Ultimate for myself as a birthday present, I am currently maining Kirby while I unlock fighters and get to grips with the game. My intention is to main Peach (as I have in past games) and possibly Daisy. It depends whose playstyle ends up suiting me most, though. I've literally tried out about three fighters so far. UPDATE: Apparently I kick ass as Sonic so I'll be maining him too

Agree on the generic wedge comment, which is a shame with those nice extender details around the rear wheels. Your bots always have great extender accents like that. Maybe just a more unique front end?
Yeah, my extenderwork is still something I'm proud of, it's just the fronts of my robots that need work. I'll have a think about what I can do. Anyway, today I decided to breathe some new life into an old friend. I can't believe it's been almost two years since I built Jungle Fever. The bodywork hasn't changed much: the extenderwork is cleaner and better-optimised in a few places, it uses the new NPCs with the fixed APs, and I swapped the large Colsons for DSL wheels because why the hell did I give it large Colsons in the first place?! Massive waste of weight. I still need to update the skin, but I'm posting it here now to get feedback on the main attractions: its alternate weapons. A lot of tourneys now, like Orc's Wars, limit you to only one Moros Blade (plus they slightly clip through the Perm even when you use the longest belt). So I've built two alternate weapon configs - a disc and a DSL bar - but I'm not too sure about either of them. Thoughts?

First build of 2019, and last build before I turn 24. It's basically a HW version of Nerve Agent (because a HW armed with nothing but two flamethrowers is totally gonna be competitive, right guys?)

Hopefully my next build won't be another 4WD box-wedge :P
Sad that ypu didn't got any useful critique, so i will do a little critique! I think the problem with this is that it looks rather blend when i look at the shape itself. Classic box with wedge on the front, maybe try something different like try to replicate tauron from battlebots! I bet thats the main problem for that bot, i hope i helped a bit! :3
Thanks Bild! "Clean but generic" seems to be the most common feedback I'm getting at the moment so I'm gonna try and come up with some more interesting designs for the future.

Rebuilt why not DS [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
I agree with the consensus. You can make it a bit more compact, and you can definitely do better with the skin. Not sure you need two DSL discs on the wheels, just one should do fine. As for batteries, I think two Battlepacks is actually just enough for four motors, so you're fine there. Spinny boi. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Are the extenders in the middle just to support the weapon and/or hold the eyes on? You could probably optimise those to save some weight (not to mention the empty space at the sides), and then try and put some more armour on the front. "You've been thunderstruck!" That's a pretty nifty chassis design, but as others have pointed out, it looks quite exposed and vulnerable to horizontal spinners. As much as I love Colsons, I actually agree with Redalert on this one: swap the wheels for something lighter and grippier, like the DSL wheels. You also have the space and weight to upgrade to the Storm front-hinge bursts for even more power. I have to say, though, this is possibly your best-looking bot so far. It just needs bulking up to meet the weight limit and not get massacred by HSes.

But seriously I think it could be a good spinner-killer if the front wedge is steel
It is, the wedge and the wheelguards are entirely steel. I haven't actually tested it against a spinner yet but it should hold up pretty decently.

I have Brawl on the Wii, sunk a lot of time into it and I'm still probably mediocre :P Gonna order Ultimate tomorrow as a birthday present to myself.

RedAlert's correct, Vaki IV needs rear stabilisers, otherwise the front will lift right up off the ground every time the weapon fires. I also feel like three Gothic Axes on the same shaft is teetering close to weapon spam. I'd personally replaces the axe heads with a single DSL hammer. I'd also recommend dropping the armour down to Plastic 10 and using the spare weight to bolt an armour panel onto the front for better protection. I will say, though, that I like the look of it. It needs refining but it can be a very good robot.
Hysteria needs a total rebuild. Plastic 1 armour on a HW is almost suicidal. Putting your wheels right at the front like that is just asking for them to be torn off by a HS, whether they have DSL discs on them or not. Your weapon supports are totally excessive, your weapon doesn't need to be that far in front of your chassis. Again, ten Typhoon teeth seems quite weapon-spammy. And with the drive motors just strapped to the side like that without any support, I'd argue that it isn't even IRL right now.

It does feel like a bit of a scattershot entry list this month. You've got okamifan's dumb poop-bot, Remedy looks horribly messy and is over the MW limit, and then you scroll down and ****ING MEGATRON
Remedy is Ironforge
and its still over the weight limit
There is a ballast in the chassis.
...and think it’s messy- FUNCTIONALITY OVER LOOKS. This thing has destroyed bots with twice the number of weapons... Because there’s so many armor plates on the bot that it takes literally forever to destroy Remedy. It also has 10 mm. Plastic, which is really tough.
See, that's the thing. "Functionality over looks" is fine for tournament entries, but it's the exact opposite of what you want and need for BOTM. BOTM is 50% "how much of a technical achievement your robot is", and 50% "how good it looks, and how good your splash looks". IF-IRL robots are a very rare sight (which is why I didn't realise it was an IF build at first, tbh), so that counts in its favour, but I stand by my statement: it looks too messy to be a BOTM contender. If the panels were arranged more neatly, I'd like it a lot more.

Yeah, there's no way Red Mist is getting through its heat with all those verts... but I mean, it's not like I expected it to win the tournament anyway, so whatever :P Just like Mighty Crab in DM2, it's gonna die but it's gonna look good doing it.

I watched Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha recently, and I'd been wanting to build a Bite Force-esque vertical bar spinner, so this was the result. The weapon isn't the most powerful or durable, but it's fast and (hopefully) better at out-wedging than some of my other bots. And I think it came out looking pretty nice.

King Crab will probably return for OW4 with some updates, and I'll try and enter Valkyri3 into the World Championships with a better AI line so it's not zig-zagging like that. Sour Note getting rejected isn't too much of a blow as it's already in Mech Madness 2. Still, my terrible OW form continues...

They can't really fix the glitches if you don't tell them what the glitches are. What did you do that caused it to glitch, and what was the glitch?

Stopping something because you're not enjoying it anymore is the best reason to stop, IMO. While I'm sad to see you go, I understand your reasons and I'm glad you made your decision now rather than struggling on for another six months. I hope you'll return if and when you feel better, but if not... well, it's been nice having you here.

You're definitely getting better, Nuurakh and Drum Roll are very clean-looking builds.
Badnik's right, with the way Drum Roll is designed you could fit in some bigger wheels, ditch the srimech, and have even more weight for things like armour. I'd also recommend moving the weapon forwards slightly, because right now it doesn't seem to have much reach. HSes in particular are going to hit your chassis before they hit your weapon, and that's not good. Maybe use the next Perm length up.
Also, am I going crazy(-er) or are Ring Ring's internals all intersecting?
the only parts of Ring! Ring! that are intersecting are the batteries and the drive motors.
Intersecting parts are not IRL, so I recommend using Ant Batteries, as, while small, can still be very useful.
Actually, IIRC, people are allowed to intersect parts with the ring in ring spinner due to game limitation. I think they are just not allowed to intersect motor with battery, motor with another motor, or battery with another battery
Yeah, it's fine if the ring itself intersects with stuff, but your batteries and motors cannot intersect with one another. If you don't have the room, you'll either have to downgrade the weapon motor to a 4-Mag, which should be fine for a CW ring spinner, or rebuild it with a slightly larger chassis.

You'll probably find that quite a few MWs are too low for you to hit with that weapon. I'd recommend using either a tribar, or a Hypno-Disc disc like jdg's turtle robots. It's a good concept though, and it looks cute!
