Using slimbody motors and some similarly sized, grippier wheels (like Vlad wheels for example) will give you some empty space to play around with. As will using multi-extenders to mount your support on. Clear out the empty space once you do that and you should have weight for the standoffs you need.

Lower the drive on your lightweight. Mags are overkill. Then use the extra weight to keep the drum from hitting the ground. I'd recommend using multi-extenders and not baseplate anchors, that should free up some more space.
You've gotten chassis space down though, that's good. Most newbies don't know how to do that.

The tornado spikes are unneeded and eating up a lot of weight. You also don't have many weapons for a heavyweight VS. Take a look at Craaig's showcase, he's pretty much got the art of DSL VS down. Just scroll back a few pages because most of his new stuff is IRL and not standard.

Just because the model is complete doesn't mean they have permission to use it.
Which is a right shame, really. Had this mod not gone and been all "official" we could have gotten so many other cool bots.

I have a feeling he was more worried about Warrior's flipper than his spinner, and he didn't want to get caught on the wedge.

And now I have a mental image of Mr. Psycho moonlighting as a slot machine. Thanks for that.

bot blast was fun
FireArrow went 2-2, beating Ophidian and Dark Blade and losing to Satan's Segway and Dark Pounder. It held up perfectly and it just needs a new wedge for next time.
Nocturne also went 2-2, but its two wins were forfeits. It lost to Gemini and Colsonbot (!!!), of which the two fights were about eight hours apart. I've decided to retire this bot in favor of better things to come.
Landshark beat Catapult in round one, but his hit on my wheels shattered a gear in that gearbox, and due to things (like the ebay seller running out of motors so i couldn't order spares) it ended Landshark's day, leaving it at 1-2.
Due to how silly the brackets turned out, despite the massive disparity in the number of fights FireArrow and Landshark had, they both finished in fifth. Don't ask me how that turned out.
champions were Gyroscopic, Mondo Bizarro and One Fierce Bushwhacker
now i need to sleep. pics will be up sometime soon

Sorry man, but it's an RC car.
Although, there's a fun saying we have over on ARC when we do predictions like that. It's "Go out and prove me wrong!"
