@Sonny: Yes it wasn't the nicest thing to do but acting like you bot was destroyed after the buzzer while there was just some pushing going on... well fake reality drama..

I agree with a lot of this honestly. The editing put me off quite a bit just because it was a really poor transition into it, and because I didn't expect it out of the show. It makes more sense in hindsight though. The "16 bots" promos were kind of a lie to be honest. The drama was also super off-putting. Whether it was real or not, I'm just very skeptical of it all. The real drama though was Tombstone. I can see one hit after Counter Revolution stops, but it was two, and it really shredded it. I'd be PISSED if that was my robot that he kept bashing (unless the driver was asking for it, as people sometimes do). But that was an annoying episode for a number of reasons. I think it'll only get better from here though, the matches should be good. And to be fair, Radioactive vs. Sweet's Revenge looked to be about the lamest match since Robot Wars Series 1.

also chomp's fight got cut short because it was boring, meanwhile complete control put on a great show and lost because it hit an arena seam. these wildcards are some bullsh**

HyperShock looked pretty good in the 3 seconds we saw of it. Excited to watch it in a full fight.

I didn't see it as a stunt. I thought it was a great way to stop Ghost Raptor's spinner, and it was funny as hell to watch. It's Team Raptor's fault they didn't know entanglement devices were legal, and now we get a robot with its primary weapon shattered in half moving onto the next round thanks to the damn arena seam.

BS that Complete Control didn't get the wildcard. What the hell. Geriatric ass Warhead moves through but a bot that should have won. If it didn't say in the rules, Complete Control should have won and give a wildcard to Ghost Raptor instead. Witch Doctor also seemed out-classed by ~~Toro~~ Bronco and looks like a MW. Shaman can't do sh**. CC flamethrower is the best flamethrower I've seen in robot combat. Don't ejaculate flames all over the arena, concentrate the heat into a blow torch like weapon. So gay. Though I will say, Bronco, Lock Jaw, Overhaul, CC, and especially Tombstone really impressed me.

Probably going to get some flack for this, but I hate nets. They're an unexciting way to win, and anyone can just buy one from Home Depot, so what's to stop everybody from using them against spinners?

i think most of the wildcards deserve the spot would love chomp to be replaced by complete control though. i think warhead and witch doctor just got put up against pretty unfavorable odds and i wanted to see witch doctor do some damage with the chin of doom though. overhaul is a fantastic robot and while i believe honestly that donald hudson made a mistake i do feel they could use the recompensation since it is unsportsmanlike behavior. Now i dont really think nightmare deserved one because of its major weakness being wedges which there are always a lot of. I think nightmare really needs a full revamp to protect it from wedges as it seems to be its downfall every competition. I fail to understand the net ruling as derrick young seems to have known the rules oh well. good delivery anyway. im still backing warrior clan as the underdog to win it all

They should've put like a tire or something in there, something ring-shaped and flexible. That would've done the trick just as much.
