Updated the rule set with rules on clusterbots, cheatbot2 for the IRL class, as well as some news on the arena.

Just gonna ask, are you gonna do the rumbles for GTMCS 1, maybe once this series is done? I'm pretty sure people (not just me) are waiting for them.
i don't have the AI from GTMCS 1, sorry. You'd have to ask Thrackerzod or RedAce.

enough of pointless squabbling and dumb bullsh**. i'm going to do this now, because if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

-Stock LW, Ironforge MW, DSL-IRL HW. Click never asked for what weight classes people preferred for BBEANS, did he? People are going to be unhappy no matter what the weight class is, so **** your opinion, this is what we're doing now.

STOCK BUILDING RULES:
Lightweight weight limit
No realism rule
No BFE, AAM, RA2CF, etc.
SNS cannot use melty-brain AI
Crawlers are not permitted
Flamethrowers are allowed from the cheatbot2 menu, everything else is illegal
Multibots are allowed, if you're madman enough to try
Custom AI will be permitted, however it cannot do anything that a human-controlled robot cannot do.

IF BUILDING RULES:
Middleweight weight limit
Realism rule
No RA2CF, BFE, AAM, etc.
SNS cannot use melty-brain AI
Crawlers are not permitted
No cheatbot2 components (I forget if there are any)
Multibots are allowed, provided the two robots are similar weight (no distraction/mini-bots). They are considered knocked out when both halves are eliminated.
Custom AI will be permitted, however it cannot do anything that a human-controlled robot cannot do.

DSL BUILDING RULES
Heavyweight weight limit
IRL Realism rule, STRICTLY ENFORCED. Do not push the rules.
All glitches are allowed as long as your robot is still IRL-realistic. I will be judging this VERY STRICTLY so do not push it.
RA2 Component Freedom is allowed and encouraged to make your robots look as good as posible.
BFE for realism and aesthetic purposes are allowed and encouraged as long as the robot stays realistic. OBJRA2 falls under this as well.
Robots must look as close to real-life designs as possible.
Any sort of thwackbot, SnS, whatever is not allowed.
Multibots are allowed, provided the two robots are similar weight (no distraction/mini-bots)
Walkers/Shufflers are not allowed.
Swiss Army Bots are limited to three different weapon systems. The main chassis of the robot (armor, drive system, etc.) should not change between configurations.
DSC's IRL packs are allowed and encouraged for this tournament.
Other skinned parts are also allowed and encouraged, as long as they are included in your entry. Make your robot look unique and interesting!
If your robot looks really bad (like for example a garish box with a weapon slapped on it) then your robot will be rejected.
I reserve the right to re-skin any robot I think has a bad or low-effort skin.
As far as cheatbot2 parts are concerned, the flatmotor, slow flatmotor, and overkill servo are all allowed, as are cosmetic components on a case-by-case basis.
Robots should not have unrealistically powerful weaponry. This covers burst spam as well as weapon spam. If your robot is too powerful, I will ask you to change it.
Flamethrowers cannot use EternalFlame.py or any modified python file that allows for infinite flamethrower use
Custom AI will be permitted, however it cannot do anything that a human-controlled robot cannot do.

COMBAT RULES
Arena: To be revealed after signups close. OOTAs will be possible but there will be no hazards outside of that.
Double elimination bracket for all three tournaments
2 minute time limit for each fight
All fights will have a limit of 2 match-altering havok restarts. After that, the robot that is causing the havok will be disqualified.
Stock and Ironforge will be judged on points if the match lasts two minutes. DSL will be done as a judge decision, with myself being the judge. Matches will be judged based on aggression, damage and control.

ENTRY RULES
One entry per weight class per person.
Updates will be accepted from the time signups open until the time it closes.
If your robot is illegal, you will have three tries to send me a legal robot before I eject you from that weight class outright.

on a hw building kick right now



5mm ti, 4wd npc normals, perm 132 weapon. isn't the best at doing damage because the perm doesn't spin fast enough for the disc to "grind" very well, but it looks cool and that's what matters

your weapon frame should be attached to the chassis at more than one point, so it looks sturdier.

blood moon looks great, but could do with a higher-res skin. when you open up the custom skin in paint, try resizing it to 512x512 or 1024x1024. that'll make your skin look a lot clearer.

you seem to like making bots very small and compact, which isnt a bad thing, but it can hurt you a lot as you see with UOK and Mr Money Bags. What I would do is make the chassis larger on Money Bags so you can fit in better drive motors. Making it wider in general would probably be a good idea so it could take on HS more effectively.

UOK could also do with a slightly larger chassis in order to fit in a 6-mag, as well as a wider dsl bar to increase your damage output.

Cold Cut looks decent, what armor is it at right now? first thing i would do is put something on the back so it can't get stranded there
