Honestly I don't see the point of any of them excepting the dual hammers or dual typhoon teeth. Why not put that effort into making a cool new bot, rather than tacking different bits onto your nearly year old ring spinner?

I can't delete my previous post, because as you may know if you use the discord, I've got to have my posts approved by moderators and that means I cannot modify or delete them.

But I digress.

Badger, can we agree to amend the rules so that the robots in this challenge must be AI'd? I'm not having Enigma drive both robots simultaneously: you cannot focus on two things at the same time. That's A-level psychology for you.
pretty sure that's implied but yeah obviously

Holy Wings is such a cool looking bot, would look even cooler without the hypnodisc teeth
What to replace with then? (Maybe just remove them?)
I am making Holy Wings 2.5
I'd just say get rid of them. Without them it's a very eruption-esque bot

Lose 2 of the black bats. And use the weight for a wedge. Then it should be ok. Also wheels guards maybe
You only need 1 black batt for 3 motors, and I disagree on the wedge. On bots with weak drive, wedges are pretty bad, and the bar will hit an opponent before the opponent touches the wedge in most cases.

Personally, I would invest the extra weight in a better weapon motor or more weaponry, or if you want to go full IRL in making the bot prettier.

Neato burrito. Reminds me of the dazzle camouflage they used to put on ships

Just one battle here, the IF eliminator!

Note: Kaiser has informed me that there is a spelling mistake in the splash for his DSL bot. I'm aware of this but I can't be arsed to fix it. Thanks for pointing it out Kaiser and sorry for not fixing it :<

If anyone has any feedback on the video quality/editing I'd like to hear it as I've moved from Adobe Premiere Pro to Final Cut Pro X

Secret santa/chinese whispers crossover, a bot is passed along with the 1st person choosing # of wheels, next chooses weapon system etc and the last person it lands on has to build it. idk if I explained it well but I can elaborate
You mean like this?
exactly, preferably with more categories.

I feel like running a tournament. I also feel too lazy to make my own rules. If anybody has any favourite cancelled or abandoned tournament they'd like to see taken over finished, let me know. I'll see what the consensus is and I'll finish or reboot the tournament, depending on if enough of the original entries are obtainable.
I've been having a few ideas:
LvD but with 3/4 teams
DSL-S SHW tournament
KOTH or sumo tournament

Nice tutorial, the new attachment system isn’t exactly intuitive.

Queue for title challengers:

TGM (If gulden hosts he has both my bot and his AI'd already)

Badger (He challenged me ages ago but I never bothered because **** dsl-s. Now he builds IRL I can finally do this. Is the fact I never did the challenge Bs? Yes.)

Kurt (I think he was the first, but TGM is way easier to run and I owe badger. Sorry, Kurt.)

Orc (Snagged me on discord pretty early on)

Enigma (On discord. Said any rules, may as well defend the title too.)

Jamie (Been dancings round a challenge for a while, haven't had the time, probably need to do this one.

Dreamcast (I think I saw his name challenging me at some point.)

Mystic (I've also been challenged by him.)

NeonCalypso (IDK for sure but anyways I need to challenge this guy to get revenge for RG.)

Updated Queue:

As Kurt, Jamie and Badger are all in challenges RN, I can't challenge them yet. The next in line after removing those is Orc.

Orc, let's get this challenge done: preferably it'd be done before Badger vs Boto but likelihood is it won't be.

DSL IRL HW
RW2016 Arena
All mods in the DSL IRL Compilation pack allowed, so that's Badnik's Recolours, the DSC IRL packs, RA2CF and the AS balance patch. (The balance patch can be omitted if you'd prefer.)
1 havok and the round is restarted 2 Havoks and the havok-causing robot loses the round.
Best of 5.
3 minute time limit.
If time runs out on a round, 3 judges (I was thinking Demon, Gulden and Badger based on their host records and general reliability but it depends on if they are willing to) decide who wins the round based on a 45 point system with 15 for Damage, 15 for Aggression and 15 for Control, where the judge can split the points given. It's either this complicated system or Flippers are practically useless because you can't reliably get OOTA flips in this arena or KOs.

Unless specified otherwise, this will be the standard ruleset for any of my future DSL title challenges. I'd honestly rather not use this arena but it's the only one that doesn't allow easy OOTA's without making it totally impossible to get them even if the flipper is dominating the fight.

I accept. Who are we sending bots to when done?
I can host. I want to learn Final Cut Pro in preparation for IW so this challenge will be useful for that.
