Rematch is probably in order if it's the wrong arena used. And tbh Badger did deserve a restart in the first round, there was a havok that affected his bot quite badly. However blaming the havoks on Orc's bot is clutching at straws really. It sucks to lose but you get over it quick enough.
I mean it's not exactly the honourable way to get round wins, but you can't really claim the chassisbot with 1 component knocked off is causing the havoks/crashes when it's against the havokiest bot type, maybe with the exception of a flail shell spinner Rematch? Also, regular Compactor or Sudden Death?
I think a rematch is necessary. I'd prefer sudden death looking at the bots but regular is probably the fair option. And can you check the havok restarts, if there are any? I don't think the crashes/havoks were caused by the normal chassis-based bot with minimal damage, but rather than the extenderbot with a tiny spinning chassis and multiple flails knocked off.
Orc's is a large static chassis, and you were still the one flying around the place.

first match should've been a restart, I lost because I got pinned to a wall by a havok. Wouldn't have mattered though
edit: and none of those havoks should've been attributed to my bot.

To be honest I don't see why we can't just say that IRL isn't a core meta but it can be used for title/belt fights if BOTH the champ and challenger agree. That rule doesn't hurt anyone

No. It's the most popular meta, there is no reason to exclude it. IRL may be designed for looks but it's also good for building in a more realistic manner than DSL-S allows, and if you want to make cool bots instead of competitive bots you shouldn't be trying to obtain the Challenge Belt.
irl was literally created for the sake of nice looking robots
if you're prioritizing competitiveness over looks you arent building irl
also, maybe this will see a renaissance in literally every other metagame which have been quietly dying for over a year
i see no reason to outright ban irl challenges if people want to have them, just dont have them count towards the challenge belt
You realise that you can make nice looking IRL bots that can actually fight too, right? That's literally what I've been doing for the past year or so.

Don't get big lad, you're nothing compared to lra2, asbees or jonzu hateboner-wise  fwiw I think voting on the meta is really stupid. To be honest I'd rather just keep the current system. I can build in basically every meta but forcing 1 meta per month is sh** for people that only build DSL or only build Stock. There's been a surge in interest in the titles, I don't see why we should try to fix something that isn't broke Maybe if you ran this suggested system alongside the current title system it could be a BOTM kinda thing for competitive builders. Like a more prestigious GTM belt with the minor titles below them

I see no reason to ban IRL, IF both the host and challenger agree to it. I'm also concerned that the champ can keep the belt hostage in awful metas, bouncing between some gay sh** like Retooled IRL or RWRA2 Standard or Stock IRL
