You guys can send whenever you want, just letting you know. I know most of you don't have teams together yet, but I'm just throwing it out there.

The only reason Raging Inferno is 200kg underweight is that I had everything on, couldn't get steel 10 (it's tite 10) and didn't want the bot to look like a mess. :L
also Blood Thirsty has srimechs. :P 8147

Modifications / Live Designs AI (Realistic AI Pack)« on: June 21, 2012, 11:50:25 AM »
Here is the thread for the first ever DSL IRL AI Pack, Live Designs AI. I am always accepting new teams for the pack.
Robots must be IRL Realistic and built in DSL. Cheatbot2 parts are allowed as long as they aren't abused (like say spamming Judge Gavels). I will determine whether robots are IRL or not. I will try to make a new release every so often, IE when I get a large amount of new teams, so new releases may be unexpected. I do want some quality robots, noob building will not be tolerated. SUBMISSIONS FOR 1.0.0 ARE CLOSED. If you want a team in this, wait for the next release. DOWNLOAD LDAI 1.0.0 HERE 8149

Discussion / Re: A bit of an idea (Involving IRL robots and things)« on: June 21, 2012, 10:48:27 AM »Well, we'll need to have it organized. We should come up together with a list of robots that we will make (say 1, 2 teams or a set of 3 bots, or even 1 individual bot). We can create them ourselves and submit them to whoever will be our leader. Me :P I'll go and start a thread to get a list of builders together, OK? 8151

POINTS! It's getting tight up top, will we see a new points leader next week? The next race is Texas, so expect standard racing to return. Some interesting surprises this week shook the points up a lot...

MARTINSVILLE
Mike Jeffries wins ANOTHER pole. Not much happens until the first caution of the day, where Calum Huges got into Fleischaker Kapsazinski. Another caution came out for a huge chain reaction that began when Scott McHale turned Jonzu Goldstone. Goldstone spun, damaging Jack Steadman's car as well as Andrew Baker's. This caused Rick Metablu to drive into Baker. Baker retired due to the wreck and for some reason Ralph Thompson was 2 laps down at the restart. Maku Sawaki makes an unscheduled stop and loses a lap. Sam Quirrel, who got the lead after the restart, was beginning to get away from his teammate Garry Orilla as the race went on. Thompson loses another lap, that engine is sounding really bad. On lap 65 a caution came out for a collision between Jonzu Goldstone (whose car is really darn beat up now) and Bryce King. Rick Metablu starts at the tail end of the lead lap (AKA right in front of Quirrel) when the race restarts. A collision between Jason Chaser and Garry Orilla brings out the next caution on lap 80. Kapsazinski loses 2 laps in the pits (his car is pretty dinged up). 90 laps in and Cal Spears Jr. has taken the lead from Quirrel (woot) and he keeps it. Quirrel tries but fails to regain the lead, lap traffic is in his way and Nick Forrest is fighting him for second. Metablu lost a lap anyway for some reason. Max Timber, his teammate, has moved into the top 10 after starting 36th. Good job for him. On lap 112 Maku Sawaki takes his lap back and this gives Nick Forrest a window of opportunity to take the lead from Spears. 4 laps later he and Quirrel had gotten past Spears with Forrest leading. On lap 120 a caution came out, and a fast pit stop put Timber in third. Forrest still leads. Maku Sawaki is on the tail end of the lead lap. Another caution gives Spears the lead, Timber drops to 7th, and Armoset moves up into the top 5 with just one pit stop! Victer Segal is also in the mix too, he's been doing well but quietly. At the restart Spears loses position after position and winds up in 4th. Quirrel leads followed by Segal and Forrest, Timber had an awful restart and finds himself battling for 11th with John Chan. Another caution comes out for a collision between James Stein and Jonzu Goldstone (geez, again?!) and Quirrel takes some nasty damage to the front of the car. On the restart Jack Steadman finally comes out of the pits to join the race (53 laps down though hehehe) and what could have been a great move by Segal is blocked by Kapsazinski and gives Forrest second again. Quirrel gets way loose coming out of turn 2 and Nick Forrest claims the lead with 45 laps to go. Matt Armoset is back up to 3rd and Max Timber is back in the top 10 as well. 35 to go and a caution comes out for John Mickel's slam into the wall. The restart keeps any shenanigans from happening with the lap-down cars as Armoset and Forrest start a battle for the lead almost immediately. Timber fights with Segal for a top-5 place while Quirrel is passed by Alex Campbell for third. 25 to go, another caution comes out for a collision between teammates--Mike Jeffries and Cael Ashby, both struggling midpack, collide and take Chase Spader with them. 10 to go and several midpack cars pit, including David Juchem, whose car is terribly beat up. Kapsazinski is keeping Forrest from being caught, and it looks like everything is set for Forrest to win. But then Jonzu gets turned again, and a caution comes out with 6 to go. When the restart occurs there are 2 laps left, but nothing can happen and Forrest claims victory. Timber did nab second from Armoset though. Congratulations to NFX for a second victory.
