Front-hinged flippers are legal, eh? Well, I know what I'm building, then. Thanks for clearing all that up for me

It does sound good, and I definitely intend to enter this, but I still have a couple of questions: - By "Chimeras", do you mean bots with multiple weapon types at once (e.g. Mortis, Splatter, the Series 7 Robochicken), or bots with interchangeable weapons?
- Actually, what about axlebots, like the Robot Wars bot Chimera? Do they count as SnS?
- What counts as an "unconventional flipper"? Since you specified "no Apollo-style flippers", does that mean front-hinged flippers are fine?
- If ring and shell spinners are allowed, does that mean Son of Whyachi-style overhead hammer spinners are allowed as well?
I might be being a little pedantic here, but I'm the kind of person who gets his dick caught in the proverbial ceiling fan if the instructions aren't clear enough, so I want to try and avoid that.

None of the following types of weapons (save for variations) are banned.
Don't you mean "None of the following types of weapons are allowed"? Also you haven't specified the weight limit, as far as I can see. If it's HW, I have something pretty neat lined up; if not, I'll have to rustle something up.

I'd enter the out of this. Probably not with Deathstalker - I think it's seen enough action for now - but I'm sure I can throw something together.

Thought I was in with a good shout after Discord ripped Echo open, but there's no shame in losing to the eventual champion. Well done, DSC, and well done Kurt for getting both tournaments done so quickly.
I'd like to request a HS rumble: Discord v Polonium-210 v Monarch v Terabyte. They're all pretty similar in appearance so let's see which is better.

Jaw Breaker vs Pyro: See, I said Jaw Breaker would do better. The Pyro bots have been underwhelming so far, but Pyro was doing well until it flipped itself. Jophiel vs Discontent: I warned you. Holy sh**, that was painful to watch. Probably my best fight since Deathstalker v Blizzard, though. Someone fetch a dustpan! Hammer Time vs Sexy Sloop: ...remember I said in Death Battle that The Living Whacked didn't have enough power? Hammer Time has too much power, and not enough stability. I've built overhead spinners like that before. Getting the balance right is important. You'll get there after enough practice. Megabyte vs Gen.2: Another good bot redeemed after a disappointing first-round performance. Just like Kilobyte, Megabyte's weapon just wasn't durable enough.
Map 2 vs Satellite: CHRIST ON A BIKE, THAT FLIP Sir Lance-a-frog vs Yell: Yell put up such a good fight, even after losing its weapon, and I thought it was done for after it lost its wheel, but it just barely held on long enough for Sir Lance-a-frog's batteries to run out. A shock, perhaps, but well-deserved. Malachite vs Assassin Unit MW: I thought Malachite had this in the bag, especially after such a strong start, but the assassin pulled off an excellent endurance win, resisting Malachite's blade long enough for it to break. Again, a bit of a surprise, but well-deserved. Radioactive Material vs Aluminium Hide: I thought Aluminium Hide was gonna pull off an even bigger upset than Plastic Hide for a moment there, but full credit to Radioactive Material - it did what it had to, and in record time too. Still probably the favourite.

Is the armor type allowed to be changed?
Edit: Saying we still keep the paintjob
Probably, but this is Stock so I don't see why you'd want to :P

Jaw Drop vs Map 1: Some HW designs are hard to translate into effective LWs and I think Jaw Drop is a good example of that. The MW version should do better. Delta V vs Py: That was a close match, honestly felt it coulda gone either way, but Delta V's impressive flipper won out in the end. Afriel vs Young Lance-a-frog: Two good designs, but Afriel with its giant exposed wheels didn't stand a chance against that spinner. Speaking of which... Whisper vs Disquiet: That went about as well as I expected. Shoulda taken the time to work on a better LW. Jophiel better watch out, though. Now is the winter of its Discontent. Admiral vs Time: I think Time would have done great, if only its bar was a little bit lower. Or at least angled, like Whisper's. Loveboat vs Assassin Unit LW: [Titanic theme playing quietly in the distance] Isotope vs Kilobyte: I guess Kilobyte... ...needed more RAM. Seriously though, both good bots. Need to learn from their designs when I rebuild Disquiet. Gen 1 vs Plastic Hide: Probably the shock of the round, but Gen 1 had no answer to that drum. Well-deserved win for Plastic Hide.

Manage to be the last one to enter through sheer luck of the draw, only to get thrown out of the arena in ten seconds... yep, pretty much sums up how this tourney went for me. Unmitigated disaster. I think the lessons I've learned from this are: don't enter CWs into HW tourneys, don't build axebots coz they get stuck all the time, and keep working on flamethrower bots 'coz they're actually viable if done right. Best Robot: I think, pound-for-pound, Frozen Over. It utterly dismantled Carbonize in the Rumble. Worst Robot: I was gonna say The Migliore, but after that epic KO on StormChaser, I'm gonna have to give it to The Living Whacked. I love oversized overhead spinners (see my Toreo! entry, if it ever gets past signups), but The Living Whacked was just way too underpowered. A good idea done very badly. Honorable mention goes to Reading Steiner because it had so many flaws Coolest Robot: Carbonize. Unluckiest Robot: Think I'll give this one to Strawberry Trapper. Dunno whether Havoks count as "bad luck", per se, but whereas Double-O got the chance to redeem itself in the rumble, Strawberry Trapper didn't. Most Feared Robot: Carbonize. John the robbut just looks too absurd for me to be scared of it tbh. Best Battle: Dunno, I'm gonna have to watch through them again.

I knew it. I bloody knew it. I just knew it was too good to be true
We have to stop meeting like this. Dear lord, so many people went for horizontal spinners. I mean, I know I did as well, but... yeah :P I dunno how well Disquiet's gonna do against Whisper, with its crappy tiny disc, but I fancy Discontent's chances whichever half of the bracket it ends up in. And Kossokei... nice boats.

May I ask though, what happened to Reading Steiner? I doubt The Migliore managed to finish it off.
Same thing that happened to it against Deathstalker, it just got stuck on the floor and couldn't move. EDIT: Just realized a thing...
In the minibot rumble, it seemed like Venom's flamethrowers kept firing even after it had run out of gas. That's very interesting, as it means I could potentially remove some of its gas cylinders and use the spare weight for something.
Venom utilises eternalflame.py, which allows it to continue unleashing fire even after it runs out of gas. This py file is also shared with the rammer version of Interplanetary.
Oh, sweet. Didn't know that was a thing. I'll bear that in mind for future incarnations, then.

I'd be interested, yeah. The last Minecraft server I played on got shut down in the summer so it'd be cool to join another one. Would it be vanilla or modded?

I thought I had a good chance against john the robbut there, but nope. Note to self: build new CW.
The four-Johns fight was as entertaining as I expected though.

I'm surprised how much butt Venom was able to kick in the minibot battle. May not have won, but it did well considering I didn't think it'd even be able to hit the drones xD
And the Interplanetary/Galaxy Evo match ended rather predictably. Gotta agree with Rob though, that was a sweet flip that got Reading Steiner out of the arena.

do people like not realize a minion disc has more DP and HP than a mech disc?
It's small and ugly, and not as frequently seen.
I used a Minion disc on the early versions of Discord but then tried out the MechaVore disc because everyone was saying how OP it was and I swear it's twice as effective now
Vertigo still has two Mini Minions though

Just as surprised as everyone else that Fusion Reactor went out, but the durability of the Minion Disc won out over the sheer power of the MechaVore disc. Well done Agent Orange, it deserved that. F30 wasn't a bad little machine either. Great work, Craig! Keep it up! :D

Reading Steiner and Deathstalker (axe) vs Galaxy Evo and Interplanetary (whichever version beat Deathstalker)
Now that's a proper grudge match. Sounds fun. I also wanna request Deathstalker (axe) and Venom vs John the robbut, just coz I wanna see what would happen.

My idea is already thought of. By the way, I have 2 questions:
1. Is external armor allowed?
2. Is there a weight limit?
1. I would assume so, as long as none of the pieces have more than 2,700 HP. 2. It says MW in the rules, so yes. I have a question of my own, actually: all components on the outside of the robot must have 2,700 or less HP.
Does that mean internal components can have more HP? I don't suppose it would matter that much, other than allowing you a wider choice of motors. Actually, would components that stick out of the chassis (like Perms) count as external?
