Well SwitchDirRam basically does that when it loses weapons, so I bet it's possible to do that when inverted.

I ask the same question when making those torque reaction vs, apparently you can't do it.
You mean its actually hard coded into the .exe?
I think it's possible, but i need someone that knows what they're doing in python to clarify.

Because you happened to put it on the bot exchange, I ai'ed it with a generic rammer AI and tested it against my entry for teh lulz.
It drives like a drunk, and it can't win anything because before it can get any good rams in it decides to turn around and lose its wheels.
Just saying.

027's always started in the back, and it's the same cars that always start up front.

Well after 027 decided that he was upset with his performance I let him work around his driver ratings a little, so don't be surprised if his cars score some poles from now on.
Of course most of the pole sitters eventually get wrecked out of the race...

DP-Need more AI help. What fun! I'd like to know what .py file, wiring setup and smartzone types and names Thunderhead (created by Clickbeetle) has. The reason is that I'm trying to AI a Tazbot replica.
Dig through the first few pages of this thread and you'll find it. It's by Philetbabe (and even comes with its own Tazbot replica)

So I fight Wolfsbane now, right? Should be a good match. Unsure about Menardi's stability though, I didn't test it before I sent it out...

I just feel like that RW had more of a bias to it, especially with the house robots (which were mostly there for show). Do you recall any unfair decisions in battlebots?
Ah, but were there any bits in Battlebots that focussed on the technical aspects of the robots themselves, rather than on Carmen Electra's rack?
That is true. One of many bad things in BattleBots was they spent too much time on crap that didn't matter and too little time on the robots themselves.

Is the robot a double wedge or something? If so, I remember Joe saying that the AI needed might be in the stock BBEANS pack somewhere...
I looked and it isn't there. I had an idea, not sure how it would be done in the python file, but taking the code used for when a robot reverses itself in SwitchDirRam and putting it under InvertHandler might work. I think JoeBlo gave me that idea, I'll look into it... Edit: Yeah I really have no idea what to edit and where, I'm scared of breaking something. I'll let Joe and the other greats do this stuff.

POINTS! Sam Quirrel begins to do just what his teammate Matt Armoset did a season ago. Can he keep going? lots of underdogs moved up the standings as the bigger drivers had some very bad days at the track today. Next on the schedule is Dover, (I ran out of excitement phrases so have this smiley instead :D)

Mega Drill needs a wider wheelbase and less giant stupid arms.
And invertability.
The other two look cool.

OK, Charlotte results and crap
Calum Huges started on the pole for what would turn out to be an exciting race. Early on, the lead shuffled like mad between many drivers, and not much happened until the first wave of green-flag stops on Lap 31. Alex Valentine comes out of the pits in the lead and him and James Stein battle for the lead. The first caution flag comes out on Lap 40 for a collision between Jonzu Goldstone, Max Timber, and Garry Orilla which also included several other drivers, including Jack Steadman, who just couldn't seem to catch a break this season. Shockingly, Chase Spader wins the race off pit road, but Stein stayed out and led the field to the green flag. Andrew Baker, who had come from 22nd to 4th in the first 40 laps, moved up front to lead until Kerry Grocutt passed him. Grocutt led for 15 laps before being passed by Alex Valentine on Lap 58. Tim Sauter passes him on lap 63 and the lead shuffle continues. Shaun McConnell, a surprise so far, manages to move into the lead and fight Sauter for it, but misses out on leading the lap by .001 seconds. He is then passed by Alex Valentine before the next lap, which means he effectively hadn't led a lap. On lap 71 green-flag stops begin again, and during them Timothy Johnson collides with Victer Segal. This collision sends Johnson into the grass and he spends almost a lap repairing damage. Valentine leads by a hefty 2.3 seconds after stops, but a group of driver including Sauter, McConnell and Baker were catching him by about .15 seconds every lap. Shaun McConnell grabs 2nd on lap 91 as the group approaches Valentine. Around this point, James Stein sadly retires due to a mechanical failure. On lap 95 McConnell finally leads a lap, and then five laps later a caution comes out for a collision involving one of his teammates, Alex Campbell (it is a pretty big wreck though). Baker leads the pack off pit road. Shane Graysen, Alex Campbell, Will Harvey and Cael Ashby retire after the caution, and Timothy Johnson retires during the caution laps due to an engine failure. Baker leads on the restart with no trouble, but Sauter grabs the lead back on lap 111 with his lapped teammate, John Mickel, in between first and second. Toyota Panasonic Racing sneaks into the top 10 at this point with their two drivers that aren't Marcus Rossi. A big battle for second emerges between Sam Quirrel and Andrew Baker while Sauter comfortably leads. The top 10 cars brawl for position as well. On lap 131 green flag stops begin, and when they finish Baker leads followed by David Jones and Sauter. Jones has a powerful car at this point though, and he takes the lead on lap 138 while Baker drops to fourth. Sauter takes the lead after Jones is held up by his own teammate, Marcus Rossi. Baker moves back into second, but Jones passes him, rushing back to the front. With 15 laps to go, a caution comes out for a hard collision between Raymond Flask and Shaun McConnell where McConnell's car flips over. No one pits, not with the race on the line, and Andrew Baker is leading the field. With 10 to go the race restarts and you can feel the tension when the cars reach top speed. David Jones takes the lead only one lap after the restart and he holds the lead in front of Sam Quirrel and Maku Sawaki as Baker drops to fourth and battles Bryce King for the spot. Jones is passed by Quirrel and Sawaki and drops all the way to eighth. Sawaki gives it everything he's got to try and secure the first win for his team, but he can't quite do it and Sam Quirrel wins his first race of the year, and the second for Team Banana. Congratulations to Squirrel_Monkey!

I saved the replay from this one and I will definitely be putting together a highlight reel before my summer vacation ends. God, that was a crazy race.
