Ribbs, I want to save as much cash as possible toward motors, armor and radio equipment. If I turn up with an extra 10/20 bucks, I'll get lite flites.

Alright, update time. After spending several years thinking of several designs, i've finally settled on one.
It will be an antweight with a Psychotron-like wedge. No weapon to save time/cash. Got another 150-ish dollars today because we had a birthday party. I'm gonna talk to my dad about it tomorrow, he's said in the past we can do it so I wil very likely have a working ant by the end of the year.
Are lego tires/wheels a good substitute for lite flites? I have so many at home that replacing them would be easier than having to buy so many sets of wheels. Also, what armor do you guys usually use on your ants?

Looks > Being efficient in IRL.
Competition > dying in 10 seconds I like my IRL bots to fight like they would IRL, and plastic 1 ain't gonna give me much of anything fightwise. It's 2wd.
