Crap, I needed at least an eighth of an inch cut off. Now I need an even longer (!?!?) chassis.

IIRC from the old BattleBots forum Mike was making an IRL LW drum named Peligro for Season 6.0, maybe he can back me up on this.
@Sparkey all of that is in Ian's download. 7263
Robots Showcase / Re: Team Ignition« on: September 15, 2012, 03:23:44 PM »Overall, you have a good design. If I had to recommend one thing it would be to get a lot of driving practice once you have your bot built, or before if you have access to a toy RC car with tank steering and a decent speed. What I've found while working on Battlewagon is that a robot of any size and a decent top speed is going to be somewhat twitchy. You'll need to get used to that. I've been getting a lot of practice already using botapp, as it uses the same kind of control system. I still need someone to answer my question before we can start getting parts... 7264

Naah, BFE tips were posted in Thyrus' showcase a while ago, the worst that can happen is a bunch of people corrupting bot files. It does sound useful for replicas though, could you show me too?

Also can you take the case off the reciever here? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9042__Hobby_King_2_4Ghz_6Ch_Tx_Rx_V2_Mode_2_.html if so, how tall is it w/o case? 7272
