HMS Dara's Boat is the best byebot I've ever seen
Also bonus points for posting that at EXACTLY 1pm

Yeah, I'd give this a go. I'd have to think of a decent MW idea, but it sounds fun.

Wow, what a final battle. That was unbelievably close.
Discontent's next up, I'm actually pretty nervous...

So back when Asbestosstar's meme tournament was a thing, I floated the idea of building a scaled-up version of Fire Tornado, weighing 800kg with no ballasts. Well, I went ahead and made it anyway because why the hell not. Presenting Extinction Event: Has a total of twelve 60cm crushing teeth and deals ridiculous amounts of damage. It's hard to control because the weapons are often spinning at different speeds, but that doesn't matter when your opponent keeps driving straight into you and receiving 10k+ damage at a time. (I promise I'll post some actually realistic Ironforge bots here someday >.>)

Wait a second... Aren't you like 17 or something Mouldy?
Depends where he's from. Here in Britain you can get married at 16 with parental permission. Anyway, not bad for a newbie. Mjolnir is probably the one that needs the most work IMO, the front hinged skirt things aren't IRL and it's gonna run out of battery in 30 seconds. Sharkbait (OOH-HA-HA) looks like a pretty solid rammer though. What armour are these bots using?

What the??? 104^0???
In other words, 104 0, or 104 to the power of 0. Anything to the power of 0 is 1.

Another Code: (5*304/152)+(1+(104^0)+2)
Is it "Two Memories"? ...sorry, obscure gaming joke. It's actually 14.

My 1st RA2 was dsl. I like the ideas you did not like. Brick looks good.
if you want a "armor" just because of it's looks, might I suggest skinning your bot. Also, all your armor ideas are redundant. Who builds a robot out of bricks, or out of gold, or diamonds? I know some make it out of wood, but still! AT LEAST suggest an armor that is another metal (other than gold).
OK I will make my own mod!
With blackjack and hookers? FWIW, Badger, I think this is a pretty good idea. I'd be more inclined to build stock bots if there were more viable options than just "36-mace HS" and "wedgey pop-up".

Stock isn't dead, people are still making bots and tourneys for it, but it's dying. The stock metagame is stagnant as far as I can see, which is probably why people are abandoning it for the modded versions. DSL-S is pretty much dead though.
Retooled's still in development, as Jamied said, but it's already reasonably popular. Not too bad, either.
We don't really talk about RA3 here.

I've tried using the eFFe glitch, following the guide on the Beetlebros website, but it's not working. I can't be doing it wrong because it's so simple that there's nowhere to go wrong.
Alright, I made a video showing the eFFe glitch. Hopefully this will help. (excuse the lack of editing, I didn't have much time)
Thanks, Uber. I misunderstood how the glitch worked, and was placing one mace then trying to eFFe the others on, thinking it would somehow bypass the "no overlapping components" rule. It doesn't. But I've figured that out now, and I can finally proudly present: Crouchybot 5000! For a memebot that's about three layers of meme, it was a good learning experience.

Whoa, stop it with the spread out maces. You've limited your damage potential and have nothing to show for it. Just do something close to this: (Image removed from quote.) You'll need to use the eFFeeMMe glitch with extenders and all but one of the weapons you choose to attach. You can also upgrade the drive.

Use 140cm square extenders. You are wasting dozens of KGs on your stilts.
I didn't realize they were that light. Okay, thanks for the advice, I'll go rerebuild it. I'm gonna have a lot of spare weight to play around with and no idea what to do with it...
You could add a second HP for another tribar, using a servo motor or snapper to put it in position
I actually did try splitting the maces across two tribars, to better target opponents' front stilts, but even with all my optimizations I just didn't have enough weight left over. That being said... I still have a lot of weight left over.

That's not a bad draw for me. Ballistic Boomslang will be interesting to fight, Kyros' Power will probably have me out of the ring in 10 seconds, can't tell whether I'm fighting Fork Flip 2 or Ript Again but I already beat the latter and can probably take the former. Either way, good luck to everyone in the next round!

Yeah, with that much weight left over you could probably upgrade to Al 10 or add extra armour using extenders/armour panels. I'd also recommend using steel wedges on the end of the plow to cause a little bit of damage (you can find them under "Beater bars" for some reason). Doesn't look too bad, though.

I watched this at work and forgot NaziBot Evo was in this heat so I had to frantically skip through all its fights 10/10 would fear for my job security again I agree with the compliments for Kyros' Power, it looks great and performs great. Thunder Slash was an interesting design too.

Thanks for the advice, guys. You were right, that fixed the veering completely. I'm now working on a total rebuild that should be lighter and more stable, so I'll update this post to show that off when it's done (probably tomorrow).

So I decided to make this showcase a) on the off-chance that I start building seriously in stock someday, and b) because I need some serious assistance with my Stilt Stumble entry, I'm running out of time, and I'm too scared to brave the GTM Discord Here's my bot so far (comedy skin pending): This is the same setup I've seen everyone else using so far: scoops on the front stilts, wheels on the back stilts. But I must be doing something wrong, because it constantly veers to the left or right and spins round in circles and is generally completely uncontrollable. Is it the angle of the scoops? Is it the way I'm mounting them? Is there something else I'm doing wrong? Oh, and feel free to give me feedback on the rest of the robot, this is literally my first-ever stock robot and it probably sucks. (397.2, plastic armour because it's just gonna get BFEd to be invincible anyway so might as well save some weight)

I have to admit that as crude, unbalanced, and generally impractical as Baconus' hammer spinners are, they're very entertaining to watch. Especially when Roders 2 havoked out of the arena, bounced off the outer wall, and rebounded back into the arena again. That was brilliant.
Eruption Evo's various havoks were pretty spectacular too.
Note to self: redesign Vertigo to use a dual E-Tek like Cyber Hawk. So glad Fork Flip 2 made it through as well, it's a beautiful machine.
I was gonna ask why Deep Blue was driving around backwards but you already answered that
