Hey gamers, here's the only new bot I built for GTMCS. Shoutout to 09 for letting me leach off his showcase. DSA and stacked redbird drive. Also a black bat, but I'm sure that's pretty visible to most. So it's like Child's Play with faster drive, but without the low energy of niftykids or instability of Mr. Snapper. Cool! and here's a cool video I made for S_M to prove you can stack redbirds and batteries. Neat!

To qualify to be a contender, you must have had a non-disqualified challenge board battle in the past 3 calendar months from the current month e.g, if it is October, then July 1st would be the cut-off date. Potential contenders will be listed in the Spreadsheet.

Since someone bumped this I'll spill what we had discussed
- Three metas would be hosted thoughout the year. They would be hosted one at a time with potentially different hosts. The first meta would have been stock HW, the other two would be TBA.
- Arena would be the BBEANS V2 or the arena AS was talking about.
- Champion title would have it's own custom color and rank.
- Rankings would carry over from the previous GTMCS.
Right now all we need is admin action, somekind of prize, and final confirmation if Redace is still willing to host.

I played around with it earlier. It seems the higher graphic options have vsync enabled as it capped the fps to my monitor's refresh rates, but that's not really an issue for a robot combat game. I was able to consistently hit 240 fps @1080p and 60 fps @4k with a 1080ti @s_m iirc had a similar issue when I ran it windowed.  from me. Can't wait to see where this goes.

November's theme will be IRL 8-wheel drive bots. Note: your bot need only have 8 powered wheels, they do NOT all have to touch the ground at once .
Enjoy it while you can, because for damn sure December is going to be Christmas Waifu Botm.

Well, since the first Battle Arcade was to celebrate my first year of GTM, how about a second for year 2?
Rules are similar to the first Battle Arcade:
DSL DSL-IRL Middleweight
16 Entrants
cheatbot2 banned
NO outside modification (e.g. BFE, AAM), HAX Mode banned, RA2CF banned except Ro7Break.
Clusterbots banned (I'd rather not have a repeat of the first one, thanks).
Tourney will be double elimination.
One havok restart will be allowed (if it was obvious that the havok directly caused the loss) before forfeit.
You have one major update (defined here as an update that requires me to change AI), and unlimited minor updates. No updates may be submitted after signups.
Fights will be 1v1 bo3, hazards on, until winners top 4, when it will become bo5, hazards off (including for the remainder of losers).
I reserve the right to refuse a bot if I feel it is trying to break rules/abuse loopholes.
Now for the gimmick: If you weren't there for the first Battle Arcade, the gimmick was that the arena was randomly selected from a list that could be contributed to before the tourney entered signups. This will carry over. Feel free to suggest arenas if they are reasonably balanced/skinned! (Tabletop is banned, for example, due to the arena wobbling.)
