 heavyweight vertical spinner inspired by the beetleweight Scary Thing it's pretty nasty, i love how it came out. NPCF drive, each drum is powered by a separate Perm 132 so it has some serious power.

competitive building plateaued when we discovered hax mode and finally bent the game until it broke
at that point there was nothing new to discover, and bots in stock have now become optimized where the only way to have fun in stock is to think outside the box and make something that isnt an hs/popup
irl at least has variety and flair, even if it is a bit of a circlejerk at times
not to say there isnt merit in building stock for fun but there just isnt as much there as there used to be. you wonder why all the old stock guys left, or barely build anymore? there is basically nothing left to build.

I've just downloaded DSl 2.2, but there is an issue in the bot lab. Whenever I create a robot and go back to the profile page, the robot is no where to be seen. Tried lots of different things but my robots just disappear with no trace as soon as I exit the bot lab. Anyone else had this problem or know a way around it?
check your teams folder and your teams.txt and make sure neither of them are read-only.

edit: ok it's a white box that doesnt collide with the floor (and also doesnt seem to have steering? it just moves in whatever direction you press the arrow key in) and a pink box that spins and also doesnt seem to be controllable
