remember, it only powers 2 servo/motors for drive, and then the odd flip of the flipper, and the reciever. hopefully one of the more expeienced bot builders will shed light on it.

£13 for 1! I'm fine with slow servos, me, especially as I'm an inexperienced driver. I will probably swap them out when A) I get the money B) I get used to driving the damn thing

OK. What motors do you recommend? Could I still use servos?

This is a showcase, not a shi*ty soap opera. This means POST SOME GODDAMN BOTS. Instead of whining aboot inf or whatever the you're doing. I've seen only 3 bots out of the this failcase, obviously you don't want to improve.
While I do agree on the content (a.k.a. this showcase has way too much pointless drama and the owner visibly is adding to it by complaining), you might want to be more... diplomatic... if you want to be constructive.
So...are you implying I be soft ? It'd be stupid to do so, because wakky hasn't gotten his sh*t together..
InfiniteInertia wannabe, get out. Hopefully we'll get somthing new when wakky gets back from his holiday.

What's the difference, after the servos been speedhacked and 360 rotation modded (Horrible choice of words, there)? I heard from somewhere that motors are harder to use and need extra tools ect.

Yes... I read on Wikipedia that you could unlock the house robots in Robot Wars Arenas of Destruction, but it seems you can not... I wanted to play as Matilda with her chainsaw... oh well...
The House Robots cannot be played, won, or bought by the player, but can be pitted-against them in a one-to-one training confrontation. The RefBot is not included in this largely series 4 based game, but appears in the game that succeeded Arenas of Destruction; Advanced Destruction. The House Robots cannot be played in this game, either, although 'cheats' have appeared in various gaming magazines, which, by pressing a certain button combination, allow the player the option to play as the House Robots. There were a number of gaming bugs, that were attributed to the House Robots, such as attacking before the player came to the Corner Patrol Zone, or randomly, particularly in the Japanese arena, attacking the player, with no referee to stop them. This often resulted in the player's match being compromised.

Some chav/ thugs thought that they weren't getting enough money off the government for being lazy twats and not bothering to get a job, so they riot and burn shops, houses and businesses down, meaning there is even less jobs for them to ignore

I think i am getting a really hot cheerleader in year 8 attracted to me.
Get real. If your year 8 is anything like the year 8 I've just finished (Summer holidays FTW!) then you'd better keep looking at your own year. She'll go for the lookers in her year.

Or I could build it to the best of my ability? Not everyone can be the best, that's why the best are the best, but everyone can improve, which is why I opened a showcase.

Not if I only gain 1 kg, I can't do anything with it. In fact, a larger chassis has more HP, so if I can't gain enough for another castor, then it actually makes the bot worse.

But would I gain that by rebuilding it? I will try when I'm bored, which will probably be within the hour.
