I agree with Hoppin: downgrade the armour to Pl10 and add some more extensive weapon supports. If you want to put the wheelguards directly on the weapons, then do what I've done occasionally and put the smallest size of DSL disc on each wheel.

Can't wait to get knocked out in the first round again

I concur with the others, you seem to be learning pretty quickly. Axi-dent looks good, the extender work on Ripcage is a bit messy but it's a good concept. And I like that My First Bot replica.

As an added note, I'd recommend posting the updated version here before sending it to Doot. That way, if it's still not acceptable for some reason, you'll find out before sending it to him.
Also, remember that it's not necessary to have all those extenders inside the chassis, you only need them to support components that are outside the chassis, like your weapons

sorry but how the hell is it not irl exactly? i'd like to know exactly why so i can fix it hurry up and tell me, i still got 5 hours to rebuild it from scratch if i bloody have to, im entering this tournament even if it kills me (im new to this irl thing so the least you could do is explain how im supposed to build it "irl") its the 2 perm motrs outside the chassis isn't it? i'll tweak them to be inside then resend again and to be clear this is a remake of a bot i saw on a little youtube series that was hosted after robot wars was taken off the air called lego robot wars (they built little radio controlled lego bots and made them fight) and whiplash was one of the most destructive and amusing bots on there, so from what i've hear irl is about a good show and let me tell you this thing is great for that aspect lol. i will keep sending as many times as it takes to get it in because i want mayhem
My advice would be to create a showcase and post screenshots of your robots there, so people can give you feedback on them and help you improve. Take a look at other people's DSL showcases as well and see what they're doing, it'll help you understand what DSL-IRL robots are meant to look like. Having your motors outside of the chassis isn't necessarily un-IRL, but it's really not recommended either because it makes them vulnerable to getting damaged or knocked off. So try and move them inside the chassis if you can, and also make sure that the weapon itself is supported and doesn't just look like it's floating in mid-air.

I should learn how to crop sometimes. Edit: deadline please
End of the month, same as usual. Cannons, hmm? I wonder...

I rotated the Snappers 180 degrees like Fracture suggested and it seems a little more stable now: Dreamcast is right, it's still not the most stable robot ever built, but I have no weight left over for additional stabilizers. I'm sure I can refine the design and shave some weight off, though. EDIT: I've thought of something I can do right off the bat, actually: I can raise the baseplate anchors holding up the weapon Z-Teks, and that'll let me use shorter extenders

Why no entries?
Maybe bc rn there aren't any stock bigshots (Geice/Sage/Mr.AS) that are entering this tourney?
All the better for scrubs like myself *smashes that mf "Enter" button*

I might enter just for sh**s and giggles, now that I have a seemingly passable Stock MW. Gonna get torn up, most likely, but it'll be fun.

So the other week, I decided to give Stock another go. After much trial and error, I managed to put together this VS. I'm sure it can be improved (and I'm sure a decent HS would rip it to pieces, it feels really underweaponed) but for my first serious Stock bot, it feels pretty good to me. The reason I'm not sure whether it has DSA or not is because I accidentally clicked the Armor tab at least once, then immediately went back to the Chassis tab and rebuilt it. I dunno whether that clears the armour you already have and sets it back to DSA or not? Or do I have to completely rebuild the robot from scratch? Can I just BFE it?

I'm being productive again, yay! Rebuilt Do You Even Lift? as a CW, since it didn't really work as a MW. Now has tougher armour, a tougher lifting arm (with counterweights so it can actually lift stuff), better drive, and a lick of paint. Could still use a little work (I think the wedges are too far forward and it still looks a little bland) but it performs a lot better now.

Suited and booted! Now to submit them and hope that they're acceptable...

Apparently DSL servos need counterweights so I'll rebuild Do You Even Lift some other time (and probably bump it up to CW) Speaking of CW, here's a pair of CWs that I'll be entering into Doot's tourney as a SHW clusterbot. The idea is that Vice grabs opponents with its jaws, and then Virtue cruises in to mess up their day with its MechaVore VS. I'll enter one of them (probably Vice) by itself into the CW bracket. ...not entirely sure about Vice's IRL-ness, come to think of it...

Right O, next question. This bot was the only robot to perform an OOTA on another machine and never reach further than the second round in it's entire career.
Pretty sure that was General Carnage 2! I'll come up with a question tomorrow when it isn't 2am.

I'm certain it's Stinger. Seem to remember them being seeded in S4 despite losing in R1 of S3
Stinger after losing to Mace in its only battle in Series 3, then coming in as the 31st seed in Series 4.
That's the one! TheRoboteer got there first so he gets to pick the next question, sorry Kurt! this post bumped me up to Heavyweight woop woop

razer
Nope. Beat Backstabber in Series 3. mousetrap? if no then sting 3
Wasn't Mousetrap or S3 (assuming that's what you mean by "Sting 3") Chaos in Season 2.
Technically, but the team had won two battles the previous year with Robot the Bruce. By that logic you could also include Cassius, Steg 2, Bigger Brother, Wheely Big Cheese, and so on.

Oh hey I actually know this one, it was Diotoir.
So now I get to ask a question, let's see... This robot is one of three, along with Killerhurtz and Storm II, that was given a seeding despite having never won a battle in the main tournament before.

Working on a SHW clusterbot and I'll probably enter one of the halves as a CW. Maybe I'll enter Venom for the LW division.
