First I heard about it was when Team Tilly posted about it. I tried Googling "Clash Bots" but all I got was a bunch of stuff about Clash of Clans cheats. Pretty awesome to see robot combat taking off so much in China, though. Wasn't expecting another competition to be announced when King of Bots hasn't even aired yet.

Persona 5 kept me busy during October, and NaNoWriMo has been keeping me busy this month, but I heard on the Discord about a tournament for "bots that look and function like bots from 1996". So I whipped up a quick TRACIE clone. I know the Slimbodies are clipping through the chassis slightly, but they're not visible in battle so whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe I'll downgrade some of the extenders and swap to TWM3Rs. Might swap the wheels as well, they're a little ugly.  This was actually quite a fun exercise, I might try building some more "retro-bots". EDIT: Oh, and I also finally gave Horror of Koror some proper wheelguards, instead of the slapdash ones it had for Badger's tourney. Next up, I'll be reskinning it into Bluebird 3.

The bracket was pretty confusing to follow, especially with the matches being shown at random. Guess my intellect level isn't high enough to understand it. Anyway, well done on finishing your first tournament! I think I can be proud of my performance as well, though I'm a little disappointed not to have won.

I was at filming and I can confirm that the Fog of War is a crap hazard. All it does is stop the fight completely for ten seconds because nobody can see.

Wow, only, like... two people sent waifu bots. Unless you count the pony, but what the **** kinda degenerate waifus a pony (especially one who's the pony equivalent of a 10-year-old) Aaaaanyway, sweet Christ on a bicycle, we've got some good entries this month. Omegalodon, Bone Dragon, and Chandefear are all BOTM-worthy IMO. I mean, yeah, they don't follow the rules, but... damn. That's some serious effort. Unlike [BAD END].

Those are pretty neat. Beastly Black definitely needs beefing up: switch to Colson wheels, make the front wedge steel if it isn't already, make the beater bars bigger (they'd line up better with the rest of the bar too). Maybe add some wheelguards, if you can fit some on. You're showing definite promise, though!

Croc-U-Bot looks pretty cool! If you can shave some weight off somewhere, I'd recommend putting some actual teeth in the jaws. Croclett also looks nice, and you've got 20kg to play with so you should be able to fix up the drum. Some of the extenders are clipping through the wheels, don't know whether that's a problem or not.

Time for my signature advice: you don't need that much battery power. Two black batteries will probably do. That'll save you some weight that you can use neatening up the drum and/or wheelguards. If you have Steel 5 armour you can also save weight by switching to Plastic 10, as it's about the same strength but slightly lighter. Solid first effort, though! Looking forward to seeing your other bots!
