The stairs are worse. It's SCP-081 or something like that. So much more scary.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: August 27, 2012, 04:40:23 PM »If I remember rightly, Street Repairs are £50 per House, and £115 per Hotel. That's still less than what you start the game with. If you were as loaded as you say you were, you could have easily afforded the repairs. And if not, just remove a few houses, and you'll be fine. The banker must've been retarded, apparently I had around 8k to pay. The concept is still retarded, though. 4184

I had a few when I was young. Pretty tough, but the wheels were very wonky and the paint was unaligned and came off so easily, it wasn't even funny. Matchbox was even worse.

Protip:
If you're playing Monopoly, throw the 'street repairs' chance card into the fires of hell. I was destroying my opponent today, slowly dismantling them, property by property. I had 4 hotels and 20 houses. Then I land on chance, and needed to pay street repairs. I was pretty loaded, but I still couldn't pay the 8k-ish that it demanded. Complete ****ing bullsh**, why was I being punished so harshly for being wealthy? I need up loading because I had lots of houses and hotels. 4186

That might free up some weight, and if you dropped to plastic, or lightened up your extender work, you might be able to get a third razor/mace on there instead of an iron. Will do. 4196

The problem with metal hinges is that they're very powerful in-game, but usless IRL. This falls under this rule:
1. It's effectivenss in-game must not be much greater than what it's effectiveness would be IRL.Problem solved. 4200
Discussion / Re: IRL: The Chopping Board« on: August 24, 2012, 03:11:43 PM »
1. It must be at least slightly combat effective if it was to be used IRL. So no rammers with axe spam, or popups or flails etc.
Or, alternatively 1. It's effectivenss in-game must not be much greater than what it's effectiveness would be IRL. |
