Ah, yes.
The PC came with a box of assorted crap, so I thought that I had to build part of it and went into a semi-rage mode.
And BF3 was failing because, for some reason, the PC was using integrated graphics instead of the graphics card. I had to fiddle with the (custom and very helpful) BIOS to get it to work.

Yeah, I didn't choose to put it on there. Weekly MBAM and ComboFix scans work much better than Kaspersky.

Ok, here's my PC stuff: Win7 64-bit 8gb DDR3 RAM 1TB HDD nVidia GTX580 graphics card Intel i5 Sandy Bridge (OC'd to 3.3 GHz)
What I put it through: 2 constant tabs on Firefox (GTM and DayZDB.com map) One or two games (Sometimes I'll alt-tab and forget about them.) Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Tekkit Server (2GB) Dedicated RAM Often windows explorer, with my csgo folder and downloads folder open Windows Task Manager Sometimes iTunes
So yeah, that's why I need 8 gigs.

Yes, but the OS takes up 1 or 2 gigs, and quite a lot is used by AV programs, Internet Browsers and other background programs. If I reduced my PC to 4 gigs, I wouldn't be able to do quite a lot of the things I do actually do on my PC.
Of course, if you have integrated graphics you're gonna have a bad time no matter what.

As far as I know, DDR2 stopped being used around the Bronze Age.

@123 Bullsh**, 8 gigs will always be better for gaming than 4 (Unless by quality you mean DDR3 vs DDR2)

If you have XP: Keep it. Seriously. You'll thank us later.
If you don't have XP: Get W7 32-bit.

A lot of old games don't run on Win7. I'm not sure about the RW games, though. And Windows 8 is cancer on a screen.
Also, if you have 3GB of RAM or less, 32-bit is faster.

IK. I had to reshoot once because I got the stack in 5 seconds. Usually it takes me half an hour. FML.

Low speed ones are good. Very high speed head-ons are quite glitchy.

4 hours of a guy trying to wiggle a black inside 2 other blacks. At the end, he still hasn't done it, so he ragequits RA2 and opens up CS:GO
End.
