I think I say this about every robot you build these days, but bloody hell, that's tiny. I love it.

CW spicy boi for Bild's nature tourney.
The pincers are attached to Slow Mag Snappers, so it bites as well. Honestly, of all the bots I've come out with recently, this is one of my favourites. Shame I couldn't get a decent picture for the splash! QUICK EDIT: Just remembered that Bild's tourney uses DSL 2.3, not 2.2CE, so I'm gonna have to download 2.3, port Fire Ant over, and hope it doesn't break anything ![]() 385

Pulso would technically be a cruiserweight (for which the limit is 600kg), but Hammerstein is absurdly underweight. You should either bulk it up to cruiserweight, or shave some weight off and see if you can make it a middleweight instead.
Also, since you seem to be more interested in IRL-style bots than the actual Stock meta, you should check out the DSL total conversion in the Downloads section, which is more suited to those types of robots. (Hope I don't get shouted at for saying that...) 386

Coming soon to Mech Madness 2:
4WD and large drums means it hits like a freaking truck. It's actually better at getting OOTAs (and self-righting) than some of the flippers I've built! Battery life is a concern, what with six motors and a srimech, but with any luck, it's opponents won't survive long enough for that to be a concern ![]() 387

I sent you a bot for the DSL-IRL belt, didn't I?

This game just looks better and better with each successive update. The fact it has real live competitors makes it even better IMO - Earthquake and Manta? You sure kept that a surprise!
There's a few issues I noticed, though:
I'll have to try the build system at some point. 391

LW tag-team? Sure, why not. Sounds interesting. Just hope it doesn't end up clogged with overheads :P

My first attempt at a MW Deathstalker was a screaming dumpster fire, so let's see if this one is any better.
Gonna throw this into Middleweight Mixup 2 once I have a second robot to enter alongside it. 394

Darn, I was gonna make a pixel-art Sonic in RA2 at some point, but now it's gonna look like I ripped off whoever made that Mario.

I Can't Believe It's Not A TheRoboteer Bot
Its name is Quartz, this font just has a weird Z. I've wanted to build a HW bot with an all-extender flipping arm for ages, and finally, here it is. Flipper's powered by 2 Wide Mediums, and it has 4 black batts. My main concern is that it struggles to self-right, but that should be fixable if I just increase the burst arc a little. 397

The new BOTM format reminded me that showcases are a thing, so time to breathe a little life into this thread with some of my more recent builds.
I have something old... ...something new... ...something borrowed... ...and something blue. 400
Contests / Re: BOTM September 2018 ***NEW FORMAT***« on: August 04, 2018, 05:58:37 PM »
Quick question: do we still have to have posted the splash in our showcase for it to be eligible? I thought part of the intention with this new BOTM format was to get people posting in their showcases again, but if we're gonna be PMing our entries like with the old format, that kinda falls apart.
