Well Scrap Daddy LW only beat Green Dragon because a wheel fell off, and the somewhat impressive damage done to MOE was mainly because they decided to enter only the fiberglass chassis, so the blade was knocking around a thin fiberglass box more than an actual 220lb robot. they were still half decent robots, just saying their prowess wasn't as impressive as it seems.

Are event registrations on the rise? I've been sitting on my ass for a decade since the last event I've been to because there aren't any in Texas anymore (and I'm not about to blow my ETO to go travel to the east coast for an event).
There have been a lot this year, mostly in florida and the upper west coast. Pennsylvania doesn't have anything new (same NERC, Pennbots and Bot Blast events) but there's talks of an event in Massachusetts this fall, which I'm looking forward to.

Max just copied Freeziez's BB rules when he took the series over IIRC.

You really shouldnt need back protection, BB9 is a 1v1 tournament and all robots once AI'ed attack the front of your robot.

P.S. how do i download the advertisements listed on the page as in where do they go in the folder?
Advertisements? You shouldnt need to download anything. Just choose the picture you want to upload on the site, copy/paste the first link with the img tags, and put it in your post.

First of all, instead of attaching images to your post, upload them using GTM's image host: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?page=Image_HostFrom what I can see it doesn't look bad, but why tracks? Since you aren't using the 60kg extra weight they come with, you could easily use technos or overkills and be faster, which is what you need as a flipper bot.

The funniest part about this is that this is right before the all star race, so we might get to see Wise voted in because of this one sponsorship deal.

You don't need a full team, just enter as many weightclasses as you feel comfortable with.
Sign ups should end a month from opening, so May 19th.
edit: Just sent off my team :) Good luck everyone!

That looks almost exactly like one of Kurt's CADs. Looks pretty sweet otherwise.

You should be able to shorten the chassis more. Go to the chassis height slider and raise it all the way, then click just below the bar.
I'd go with wide ant wheels and a longer weapon bar, right now that isn't going to hit much at all.

Can it do anything inverted?

I really don't like that. For three flippers to be on a single MW you'd either have to make them really small and weak or just be crazy. I doubt it fits into IRL.

State wheter you are an IRL builder or standard builder, it helps us to give you advice with your building style
Actually you don't need to do this. Just build what you want and follow our advice, you'll fall into a certain style eventually. Welcome to the forums, your bots look pretty good. I'd use a DSL bar instead of a disc for your spinner, that should make it harder for your weaponry to come off.

Thanks!
I'm apparently going to need a custom Shrike shell component and custom spinning tri-foils for Atomic Wedgie.
When I was planning to do my Atomic Wedgie, I reskinned and weaponized some hexplates and half hexes. Might that work?

All those pole spikes are doing are looking ugly and blocking people from hitting your weapon...

I like Join Us, you could probably swap out the wide ramplate with a dsl bar or something and use the extra weight for some aesthetics
