what i would do is raise the chassis one tick and mouny the snappers vertical and closer together. another thing is you can trim down the rear where the drive is and then use it to increase the width and shallowness of the front.

which is 3 DDTs (1 for wedge, 2 for weapons)

Are DDTs good for wedges?  I thought that Snapper2s made better wedges, since they're closer to the ground.

they arent worth the extra weight. psy popups suck anyways
By modern standards, yes, but it's a good learning exercise in empty chassis space and basic glitches. You can't expect the guy to be making god-tier bots not 2 pages into his showcase.

doesn't look too bad. if you want to get far in stock, you'll want to learn some of the really basic glitches now, like stacking and the eFFe glitch (both are really simple, don't worry). As for the bot, a wider, longer front to the chassis is never a bad thing for popups. Try the psycolone popup challenge, which is 3 DDTs (1 for wedge, 2 for weapons), 2 HP ztecs for drive (with rubber wheels) and 2 stacked black batteries for power.

A great resource for beginner builders is this page.

You should also check out the DSL and Ironforge mods, and see which you like the most. Stock isn't for everyone, it takes a lot of patience and weird glitches to make a good bot, and often if you mess 1 thing up you have to start all over.

think you have too much batteries
that too, this will do fine with 1 black.

I would say make it wider, and move the drive motors as far back as possible. Maybe move the pistons further back too, right now I think they either just push opponents away or hit them before the opponent touches the wedge.

Looks like it would run out of juice super fast, but it doesn't really matter if it has a decent wedge like every other bot in IF

Yes, before you ask, I am over-compensating for something.
Your lack of renewable energy? Looks like you could power a small town with that thing, given a stiff breeze.

I know it's basically a memebot but how stable is it, can it actually hit anything without tipping over?

consider:

Not using plastic 1
Not using chicken drills
Not having a hammer with no trapping device
Not having 1 hammer that destabilizes the whole bot when it fires
Not having no defense on your bot at all
Not having your wheels halfway along your already unstable bot
Not having a wedge
Not crying and implying foul play or bs when you get rekt

ggwp kingofkings, pretty neat bot there

To be honest, it's probably my fault.
probably.

You say this as though there's a possibility that it was someone else's fault.

I would heavily encourage you to use weapons without normals for a FS, beaters would be one of the best choices imo
I think stronger drive would help you, even just grippier wheels would probably do it. I would replace one of the blacks with 2 pinks or something. if you used mini wheels I bet you could make it invertible too. other than that its not bad.

chassis makes me laugh for some reason
I actually tried beaters, they did no damage and got deweaponed. I might try them again.

I think faster drive would destabilize it, it's fast as it is without ballasts, but I thin I can improve it with the spare weight. brb.

Wanted a LW gutripper with 2 wedges. Ended up being an excercise in efficiency, and it still gets deweaponed by rammers, as it can't efficiently get robots up onto its discs. It's definitely a bottype more suited to MW, and I think IF could do with a motor light/weaker than the yellow z-tec I'll probably rebuild it as a MW and see what I can do from there, all it needs to be good really is a slope from the wedges to the discs to help bots get onto the discs

Now that I've gotten some sleep, allow me to explain myself.

The poll was a wash so I decided to clean it up rather than delete the whole thing. If you got positive or negative rep for reasons that didn't make sense or no reason at all, those records were removed. If the person who applied the rep wanted it to be kept, they should have used a reason that followed the rules. The members who made the biggest mess have had their rep powers removed. I could have saved some time by wiping the whole system clean but I thought it was important for me to get a list of the culprits (not just the people that had their rep powers removed).

After removing all of the blatant trash, the list looks better and I plan to keep it this way. When I get the chance, I'll look into solutions as opposed to band-aids but, in the meantime, stop making a joke of things.

Looks pretty underweaponed tbh. Try downgrading the drive to slims (or even astros) and beef up the weaponry, maybe to blades on hex plates. Not a fan of the sickles on HS tbh. I also think 1 plow should be enough defense, you're gonna get deweaponed before the other bot gets through 2. If you're going for a more trapping design I would scrap the spin motors altogether and make a hammer or something.

Valve just keeps adding stupid hurdles to trading that achieves nothing. First the email verification now the mobile authenticator. makes listing 50+ items on the market a massive pain in the dick.

Is there any point in spoiler boxing a quote which isn't spoiler boxed right above the post you made?
Not really, just thought it was a bit spoiler-y, and in case reier edited his post. idk. I guess a wedge was was inevitable so it's not really a spoiler
