I have 0 idea what bild is doing rn so I'm just going to propose some more changes since these are relatively minor and easy to implement.

- give all chassis armors the same HP/kg efficiency.
the ratio for this would be whatever is currently the most efficient or potentially higher

- give batteries an HP value that scales with weight
as recently discovered, batteries that take damage lose about half of their electotal, and batteries by default only have an HP value of 400. making HP scale with weight would also help make the heavier batteries slightly more useful considering their size

- give all weapons a 1:1 piercing to concussion ratio for their current damage potential
Would make DP more accurate as all weapons would have equal p/c ratios. actual DP would remain unchanged (for reference, typhoons already have a 1:1 ratio of 1.75p, 3.5c)

- remove the edge damage from mini/mechavore disks so that only the teeth will deal damage
currently they deal damage with both the edge and their teeth. no other stats will be changed (aside from a 1:1 ratio as seen above if people agree)

this one isn't as easy, but it was previously discussed on discord
- redo the collision mesh for various teeth as ra2 can't handle concave meshes
this would include ripping teeth, matildas, and cutting teeth (think C shape weapons)

Time for me to ruin 2.31 by adding a bunch of hseless sh**.
(Seriously if you help with adding belted/beltless stuff i can help
idk what bild was planning, but I'd rather just fix/improve the existing components first (since tbh there is no actual discussion on what is getting changed)

Round off tips? Is that only for the mesh or does that also include visual change, thus the chisel is not sharp anymore, but more like rounded hammer?

extremely hot take: the standard wedgelets are actually terrible for use as wedges. even with the blunted tip, both the angled and flat wedges would almost always wedgelock

for those who missed our woke arena 2 chats, the wedgelets also seem to be on the unstable side

idk what bild is planning, but more than likely they're gonna get lengthened to 30cm (collision mesh can be enlarged further if needed)

more stable in my testing, and far better for making angles with on an extenderbot

I'll echo what I said on the discord, i think going with the 3rd option for the majority of components would be the best, and then going with option 2 for the wedge edges. that way they'll still work as wedges, and they aren't nearly as exploitable as something like 10cms with no weight

steel shark can be set to hidden since nobody legit uses them, and matildas could probably be left alone

Can we get a forum hierarchy please? I mean, if my posts can be controlled by admins and moderators, meaning they have control over everybody else, why not have other stages of rank and power as well? I mean it is only fair. ADDED: Does it make sense for me to have the same rights as LRA2 or RM2444? How about newbies? Are they as good at giving advice or knowing about the history of the game or they way things are run? Are the Admins and Moderators the only people in power? I thought a forum was a place from Ancient Rome and symbolized democracy? Power to the people? Not here...You can even make this a US Government, which in reality is a Hierarchy with just c and balances...but it is NOT fair for someone like Myself Sage or Scrap Daddy be among the same class as LRA2 Roboman and System32. ADDED AGAIN: In the past there has ALWAYS been an hierarchy. When I was young to the game I did as I was told and never defied. I waited my turn. I lurked in the shadows of RA2 greats, and even with my limited knowledge, back then I still had differentiating opinions, but I never voiced them. But now the system has broken down and builders have not been 'raised' the same way as of recent. So when people dont read rules or dont follow directions or dont listen to advice or double post and silly stuff like that its because they dont LISTEN. And people need to LISTEN TO AUTHORITY. Its how all of us were raised and schooled, there is NO DENYING that. MORE ADDED: I may not be in contention for an ADMIN spot anytime soon, nor is anybody else. But does my authority even exist in its common state right now? Not really, but people are still scared, hurt, and affected by what I say, so why not give ranks of power to prevent fallouts from happening in the future? It would HELP by limiting newB rants and disobediences as well as preventing the 'spamming' going on by alot of members on the forum. -This is focused at RM and LRA2copyright-

Orc said 6 small typhoons on horizontal spinners, taking advantage on a poorly written rule
why are you caring more about an irl bot's fighting ability than its looks...
that's literally all kids/zoomers care about nowadays. the only saving grace is that they don't know how to build efficiently

the arms are better, but the 20cm before the teeth still gives it that spindly look

Gonna bump this because we need boomers vs zoomers. Gonna tag up your whole street ****tards
y'know Hoppin, not every clan has to be a toxic meta group, but who am I to mention toxic groups to the creator of Team Hop, Fortnite, Team Apex Loves OW, and BFE - A beginner's guide?

also zoomers are getting thrown in the river

Iirc fotpex was taking stuff from rebalance for 2.2CE and 2.3
Tbf though, the beater DP increase sounds good. I'm just curious about what are changed too aside from just the heater and Frenzy hammer, as well as some CB2 weapons being unCB2'ed.

Also, have to admit, but I actually installed the AS Balance patch on my DSL game that I use heck
i mean, literally just read the weapon descriptions. a large typhoon only has 509DP in an AS balanced game. 2.3 however was going to use a different balancing formula

the complete edition doesn't have the AS patch installed, only the AS balanced frenzy hammers. the only reason beaters got a buff was because the colored beaters were based off an AS balanced game

278
For the colored Frenzy hammer stat, heard it's because 2.2 Complete Edition apparently has the AS Balance patch in the same server where the discussion was
it is, but there were two different packs.  one for base dsl and one that was AS balanced

clearly he picked the wrong one

279
Going over the stats of a few components, I've discovered that the colored beater have higher stats the the default DSL 2.2 ones.

After a brief discussion with a few people, we've agreed that the best fix would be to buff the stock beaters to the stats of the colored ones.

patch to buff the default beaters
https://gametechmods.com/forums/downloads/?sa=downfile&id=478

typhoons appear to have the exact stats as the default ones.

also another PSA: the largest black drum from the OW AI pack is slightly lighter than the default one.

edit: also also: the skinned frenzy hammers in the Complete Edition are weaker than the default ones

- cheatbot2 Components are allowed, just dont abuse them
- Custom Components are allowed, however if i Consider them to OP I Will Ban Them
idk why yall are so worried about typhoons and rep disks when this exists
