You're allowed 3 modifications to the chassis. A modification would include:
  • Removing a component
  • Adding a component]
  • Moving (or rotating) a component
3 modifications isn't even enough to add 2WD.
The power of extenders my friend. The entire bot is going to be built off of extenders starting on 3 baseplate anchors.
This. modifications to stuff attached to the baseplate.

Yo mouldy, there are no rules against joining multiple teams. Are we allowed to enter multiple bots in different teams (considering how slowly this is filling)?

Clone Clash would be awesome -IF- it was Heavyweights. Middleweights... Enhh. I'd still enter, but I'd prefer it to be heavyweights.
eat sh** mw is the best weight class if you don't agree with this i hope trump builds a wall around you

ey b0ss

I wasn't saying that MW was crap or anything, it's just that, from looking at the chassis, I think a good chunk of the weight would be taken up just by the batteries and chassis.
considering that you can remove a part you can remove one battlepack and with how batteries would in dsl 2.2 i think two battlepacks is an average amount for a mw.
I wanted to go overkill on the batts so both bots with spin motors and bursts would be viable.

Promised my next tournament would be MW. Besides, we've just come off a MASSIVE string of HW tournaments.

Liking the clone clash but how would one stack those without using the stack glitch? Think it would be better if you added more anchors and removed the change option.
Also isn't it possible to add a poll to your own threads?
I used RA2CF but I've stacked BA like that before. You could just attach it to the chassis itself so I figure it's still DSL-S. If there's enough outrage over this I could easily legit wedge a cube anchor in there for 2kg extra overall

Couldn't find the option to add a poll :(

Rules:
All bots must be  built using this chassis, which you can dl here:
DSL MW (399.9 and below, not including smartzones)
Combat Arena, hazards off, 3 min fights.
You're allowed 3 modifications to the chassis. A modification would include:
  • Removing a component
  • Adding a component]
  • Moving (or rotating) a component
Chassis may not be resized or reshaped
Otherwise DSL-S standard ruleset
I can AI, but not very well, I strongly suggest you AI your bot yourself.
I reserve the right to decline a bot for ANY reason, and I will do so if a bot is going against the spirit of the rules.
No meltybrain, or custom .py's-SnS, TRFBDs, crawlers and other ghey sh** are banned
No custom components that do not come with a fresh DSL2.2 install, this includes skinned components.
1 havok restart per match per bot, any further havoks count as a round loss.
Bots may not be updated after the first match has been recorded, except AI tweaks or skin changes
All matches are BO1 except the grand finals, which are BO5
If spots are not filled, I may reduce the tournament size or fill spots with standard DSL2.2 bots.

I disagree about JP, I distinctly remember thinking during the show how well he's doing. The BB commentators make me cringe. Agree on all other points though.

I see the skirts on Hexa are attached with baseplate anchors. You're gonna wanna use metal hinges or else those skirts won't get underneath anything. It's always a good idea to try to make your bots wide too, especially with VS, as it gives stability and improves the wedges.

2 razors isnt really enough for a BW. Maybe downgrade the weapon motor to get 4 razors or irons or whatever?

Think you should directly attach those spinner teeth on the spinner instead of placing extenders on there first. it might be better to go back to the Vlad spikes so the disk is lower to the ground(and can hit away wedges) Looks good otherwise.
They're beater bars, not extenders. This weapon setup give the DPS of the teeth with the added durability of the beaters. It used to be pretty common in 2.1 IIRC.

What I would suggest is lower the armor to pl3 maybe, remove the scoop and replace it with skirts for stabilization (or the vlad spikes, though they are very heavy), and maybe somehow find a way to protect that weapon motor? But it's already looking like a competent bot.

It's pretty cool to see a new member who's actually talking feedback and improving. Keep it up!

Not sure how IRL it is with those exposed motors and whatnot. Looks like it could make a pretty cool DSL-S bot if it had a skirt hinge wedge.
