CB is ontop of the battery, and Hi5er is correct. Could probably widen the chassis a little or do something to implement the improvements above but I like the feel that the bot has as is.

 Removed the battery and CB so you could see better. Used T connectors instead of extenders because on a thin bot like this symmetry is more important so it doesn't drive wonkily. Swapping would only get me another razor anyway (if that). If I had more chassis space (or the chassis points could be closer together) I could offset the snapper to compensate, but it's not a huge deal.

Just read your post. Pretty much agree with everything you said. Although I think TR2 would do alright against Carbide. The scoop on the front looks quite well armoured and should be able to take at least a couple hits, giving them time to throw carbide around a bit and hopefully put the blade out of commission. You're right though, they haven't got much competition at the moment, unless the wildcard is going to be Razor!
True, but I don't think a few flips are enough to stop Carbide and they probably can't flip it out? I think wildcards only go to heat runnerups.
So i just watched the first episode of the 2016 version, and Razor again throws himself in while trying to put another bot in the pit. really his curse haha
about the cold issues:

Again? don't think that happened before. Also speaking about spoilers, should they even be used in this thread at that point? I feel it leads to people overlooking way too much posted stuff.
That would make the arena temporarily warm but sadly wouldn't work for the Co2 bottles that are inside the robots and already cool from the workshop.
Vs Tornado in the series 6 (?) grand final, when tornado was using it's bullsh** cheat ring of aids.
And high power VS like carbide hit themselves just as hard as the other bot, so assuming it could take hits from carbide fine, a knockout or push into the pit wouldn't be out of the question.
Are you honestly still bitter about what happened over a decade ago? It's not worth getting upset about.

Can we see the insides of the first one? I think you have another burst motor in there that allows for it to work as a front hinged flipper?
As for the second, was going to ask how that works, but is that really better than building a wammer instead?

The tribars are on an axle mount. Lets them spin when hit by a HS and movle slightly with movement, which allows better gutripping that static weapons without the weight/battery cost of a couple of motors. I got the idea from Gauche Suede's Heli Liver. It's not amazing but it can pull out some wins against HS and against popups it's just a wedge war.

Entries for a couple stock tournaments   Didn't want to enter my usual stock generic crap, so I tried to be a little different. The popup has 5 razors on 2 snapper 2s, which are mounter on a blue snapper along with the drive. Runs on a single black. Snapper 2 wedges.

I hate to bring this issue back but can we stop calling it cheating? The rules allow modifications as long as they include an active weapon and are declared before the tournament, and the maximum robot size was larger than the size of the pit. Tornado fit the rules to the letter, and put on an exciting fight.
 yea you're wrong, it's the definition of cheating and put on an exciting fight. Lol do you have eyes? Tornado getting pushed around for the entire match doing literally nothing then getting stuck over the pit and getting the most sh**ty win in all of RW history in the grand finals is not exciting.

Gravatic Reversal 5's smartzone was a bit too high causing it to lose weapons in the first battle, which made that one a bit boring as it had a difficult time hitting the small chassis.
Wasn't sure what happened when it was spinning like that in Round1, but I've seen that before with one of my AI's which didn't have all required parameters.
As for the spinout in round 2, it really looks like it had problems with ground clearance and the wheels weren't touching the ground(was there something under the bot or did the wheels just glitch? guessing the second. You can see that the wheels are spinning but nothing's moving when it's getting counted out.
I rewatched round1 and it looks to me like the smartzone placement was fine, it was just firing because the HS maces were in range, which you can't really do anything about. Again, if you're looking to fine tune your AI you really need to do it yourself :P

Don't like the host's AI? Do it yourself! Pretty sure the smartzone is fine anyway and it was just popup.py waiting for the chassis to enter the smartzone.
