otherwise yeah a so glue burst seems overly strict, and the new teeth limits kind of screw over some of the older seeds iirc 246

the burst limits were fine and are what the majority of tournaments have used for the past year and a half. bajurs just being a boomer tbh
y'all really don't want something like big oops or gandora/slapshot with more power 247

I'm not really fan of the weapon limits, mainly the beater limits seem a little off
personally I would just do something like 2 large teeth (typhoons, ripping, large nightmares etc) 4 small teeth (typhoons cutting teeth, nightmares) 6 large/medium beaters 8 small beaters/matildas (this is mainly with vs in mind and the assumption that you have the colored beaters/buff) edit nvm were going 4/6. ok well uhh large/med beaters could probably be buffed to 8 or 10 since they're weaker 1:1 with small typhoons it isn't going to be perfectly balanced, but I think we all know that balance isn't a 100% thing in ra2 248

Site News and Feedback / Re: Open Admin Postions« on: September 12, 2019, 08:01:29 PM »it's less a maintenance thing and more that you're supposed to be a figurehead in the ra2 community (although I think that more comes down to the person than the position itself nowadays). I would prefer that we have more than one active admin to help even the workload and avoid a potential torv situation where we have no active administraitonWhat sort of time commitments are involved? Orc also has expressed interest in taking the role, which I have no qualms with as I feel he would be a good fit as he is well respected and influential member of the community 252

Short and sweet: 09 and I have no longer have interest in being a part of the active administration are probably gonna join hoppin in the river
If you want to step up, then now's your time. I've asked numerous people who are well respected and upstanding members of the community and they've all said no. y'all love to contribute opinions on where this site should be heading, so now's you're chance lead it there yourself. also, 09 and I will probably remain on temporarily to assist with the basics of editing the forum until the new admin/s can get the hang of things (or you can just ping one of us when you want stuff done, that'll probably be easier for everyone) If nobody suitable wants to take the positions, then we'll probably just give it to kix since he was the only one who said yes ( not that he was given a serious offer) 253

And I think, that commentary would be nice. just gonna say, if it's only like a 60/40 spilt in favor of 3 irl divisions then we're probably going to go with 3 different metas. irl is still being included, and I think more people would be happy with a stock/if division than being bummed out about there not being an irl lw/mw/cw divisionthere's 3 different divisions, the most popular one is going to be dsl irl 260
Tournament Archives / Re: gtmcs 3?« on: September 03, 2019, 05:03:28 PM »
alright so the poll isn't finished, but it looks like the 3 metas will be stock hw (unrealistic), ironforge hw (standard), and dsl 2.2 (irl)
as for irl rules: would people prefer the 2/4 or 4/6 meta? which ever one passes will be slightly modified to a little more encompassing in terms of weapons, but it'll still. be familiar to those who play IRL |
