lul I ran steam with literally no problems a month or 2 ago with worse specs than yours. Maybe do a fresh windows install?
Steam is more convenient, has a larger library, makes your games easy to manage and launch with filling your desktop with icons and serves as a very useful social platform. There are a million and one things steam does outside of simple game purchase (chat, the entire community side, non-intrusive DRM, without steam you'd be getting a hell of a lot more AAA games shipping with stuff like SecuROM or SimCity's always online BS).
Anyway, back on topic. Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the pacing was off. Signups took so long to get the final bot in and so many were VS that I kinda got bored of the tournament before it even started. I've updated all my .pys now so I'm good on that.

We've had no ironforge tournies in forever lads, there are like 2 or 3 stock tournaments in signups and we've just had a ton of DSL tournaments

Livestreamer doesnt rape my CPU
> Watchdogs > FC4 yea my point about no good games stands.
I know gog does modern games too, but to me there's literally no reason to buy something on GOG when it's also on steam. There's no point complaining about "ownership" of games on steam, it's totally irrelivant to the consumer experience
idk dude I rushed this out so fast, I need to take more time on my next tournament

Twitch? Eww, switch to Hitbox instead, 7zip(why would you have that open while playing games?) Steam (no uplay and no drm free ones?)
Hitbox has literally no good streams. Literally 0. Not one. 7zip was open because I was checking that I hadn't screwed AI line, as the creator gave me his AI line. Since it was working so poorly in the group stages I switched it to omni for the brackets. Uplay is a POS and has no good games. cba with GOG, has less games than steam with fewer sales and I can get everything not ancient on GOG on steam instead. Not sure if desura has DRM but its desura. On your other points: The 16 min cut was because Crash Test havok'd for a second time, and therefore lost. Junou uses potter wheels on the top and bottom, 259 (?) and some other disc as weapons. It's also 70% cancer 30% aids. Pretty sure you were the only one who wanted to see that pushing match, I was very seriously considering just stopping recording 30 seconds into the round cause we knew who would win. I kinda ****ed up AI'ing most of the VS. I didn't have updated .pys (which I shall remedy as soon as I post this comment) and I didn't want half the tournament be VSs winning by spikeballing.

Get rid of those ballasts, put the wedges on DDTs, get a second set of HPz for drive. You also need 2 blacks for power, and a lot more razors.

Fjunkester 2: I quite like the lexan frame, but other than that, it could have problems in the rumbles.
Wat? It's all 1v1s, no rumbles

Yup, you can't make decent stock bots using only the grid.

Not sure that the switch to plastic for HP drive would be worth, especially considering I'd have to make the chassis larger. The problem with it ATM is the normals combined with the fact that it gets raped by HS, I think.

Bear claws are crap when they're not on HS.

Those wedges could be wider, it might even be worth putting them outside of the bot on BAs. No frontal armour means you're gonna get rekt by HS but I think that's par for the course for jugglers. Also, why grannies?

I don't think many people even know what AAM is, I don't think anyone who knows how to do it would be faggy enough to enter a bot abusing it. Besides, there's literally no reason to go through the hassle of AAM when RA2CF is more convenient and powerful.
