i may not be the one to pioneer it (though i've already said that I didn't see Ounce's robot before making the initial Final Z prototype) but most people recognize mine as the icon of that design.
I'm not here to start another argument though, I'm just here to say it's not a bad spin on the design.

inb4 Badnik "ermagerd it's final Z"
Generic as hell, but it's a good build regardless.
lol it is though Not sure how I like sacrificing motor protection for weapon power, but the undercutter design is a nice touch.

I don't see why there's so much uproar about this. I think it's cool. Kinda reminds me of what would happen if Sump Thing went and became a competitive robot.

it's intredasting
flimsy as hell though. and you could use skirts instead of extenders on the front to make it more stable and less fragile.

Drive system for Scarab (the tracked drum) is done. Uses the 22:1 sparks I won at bot blast last year (which are being discontinued, so I figured I might as well use them) and some vextrollers I got back when Nocturne's original vextroller blew. Now to wait for the rest of the parts...

I'd enter the actual robot and use the toys for practice.

I'll be honest, I think you have it backwards, but I won't stop you from doing what you want.

Does Troubadour no longer exist?
Also, i'd send an e-mail to Jeremy (the event organizer) first, but it shouldnt be an issue. Just make sure you have the registration fee when you get there.

Yeah the wheels being so exposed is lame but it works pretty well otherwise.
