Thanks gulden, hopefully you host another tournament soon, because despite the rule loophole you've done another great job here. Thanks for voting for glass cannon guys!

Badger.. i dont think that would be good... license issues!!

Problem is RA2 already has issues with rendering components behind transparent components, I think it would be worse with transparent sponsor components. Guess its worth a shot if DSC wouldn't mind the extra work  :dumb)

Reduce the length of those armour panels, and use the angled panels on the edges. Doesn't look too bad apart from that.

Don't suppose you could tint the polycarb armour pieces? Reskins of the beater wedges would also be greatly appreciated. The plan to do stuff in the power tab is great too. Most wheels look pretty terrible, maybe you could give them a look?

Edit:
And maybe some sponsor decals or something, with no hitbox and weighing 0, that we can attach to our armour panels

i personally would have made that a hammerbot instead of a flipper.
This, the spike strips don't look too a e s t h e t i c either. I like how you've done the armour, though. Could be a very nice bot, with a few touchups

What did you mean by having another CPU? You probably shouldn't be running windows 10 on a PC so old, but whatever.

Tell us in more detail about when is crashes. Exactly when does and doesn't it crash.

Well I know nothing about cpus, so your sayings its a crapy cpu? I do have another cpu in my other cp its a intel dual core is that better?
It depends which dual core. Try running RA2 on your other PC, and see if you have the same issue

Stop listening to jamied, he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about

Can I ask why you have 16GB ram and an 8 your old CPU? It seems pretty weird. In any case, your CPU is SUPER weak, and I'm surprised windows 10 runs OK. Do you have access to a different computer or laptop?

Does it crash when you try to do an exhibition game? Is it only in certain events or all events? Only in DSL?

Download a fresh copy of DSL2.2 from this link:
https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=262

Extract the folder inside to your desktop, and run the .exe inside. Do not install anything else to this DSL folder, it is ready-to-go as it is. If it still crashes let us know.

Discussion / Re: so are we okay with making the weightclasses even numbers
« on: December 24, 2016, 01:24:09 PM »
You can't exactly do much with the extra weight.
That's not the point, it's more of a standardization thing. 125-175-249-399-600-800 looks silly.

Standardization? We can build bots without batteries because of servos.
That has nothing to do with standardisation
