or have it just poking out by like 1 or 2 pixels, that would look fine and be effective. I guess skirts aren't inherently bad, but using them like it's DSL-S leads to your bot looking like ass.

Pretty bog standard IRL spinners man, not much to say. The Mechavore BW is especally ghey so kudos I guess? And why are your discs attaching to the back of the TWMR3s?

They showed absolutely no signs of fixing the game

you mean outside of the several patches that were on the right track, as well as the promise that they apparently "weren't done" back in september? i mean it's obvious now that we're never getting any more updates but back when people actually cared about this game it was looking promising for a while.
What?

They never fixed anything of importantance, and it was always very clear that they were never going to. If you thought that fixing some small sh** meant that they were going to fix the big, hard stuff too, you were mislead. They never showed any sign of fixing the physics, or the building.

Not a fan of the big gaps between panels, or the wheels clipping through the armour in that way. The concept and design is cool, but the execution feels a bit off

Not sure if this has been asked yet, but possibly the arena from the 2016-17 BBC Robot Wars series?
IIRC Craaig has it but he doesn't want to/can't share. Harass him via PM or discord if you want to get it I guess.

> that skirt wedge

(Image removed from quote.)

Looks solid apart from that. Maybe try and made the wedge and main body more connected, kinda looks like 2 bots glued together atm

my planned entry for the next Redditbots (Hence the disgusting skirt wedge. If I ever enter it into something on GTM the skirt wedge will be gone.)
Yes, thank you, I can and did read that. I felt that the wedge was so bad it was worth repeating, since the point of showcases is advice. Try contributing something instead of sh**posting in a showcase next time.

I agree that the wedge and the main chassis look a bit disconnected. I originally had a DSL armour triangle on either side under the angle pieces, which made it look a lot more connected, but they had to be ditched because of weight problems. Weight is the main issue here that's preventing me from doing what I actually want to do with this bot, as there's not really much I can get rid of to find the weight to do more stuff to it.
Weight is always an issue, maybe change some of the back pllates to polycarb to save weight, or do a small redesign of the front?

And Scorpio we can agree that the game is pretty much dead
Makes me rather angry that I turned around and bought it again (after refunding it) because I thought they were gonna get their sh** together. I want my $20 back they don't deserve $20.
It's your fault. They showed absolutely no signs of fixing the game but you put your faith in them based on hopes and feelings instead of evidence and track record.

Wedges are pretty good, but not quite as good as the 2 popups above. Kinda sucks against anything that's not a popup or juddglr, since I'm spending so much weight on caster armour for a bot that can't do anything to the bot types that caster armour is useful for. Could've just made it another popup but thats boring.

Forget the polls, man. Just do a re-record or not, and get it up ASAP. The longer you wait before making a decision, the worse it is.
