V3 features a .bat file to switch the default teams with the extra teams. You should be able to update it to V4 and it will work.
Oh I see, kinda wish that it was possible to randomize it, but without some big hacks(because I doubt you could do anything with Python here unless you somehow inject it into the game) it probably won't be possible.

Pole spikes are a bad weapon choice. They have normals, which means they only deal damage in a certain direction. Using them on a VS means they won't do much damage. I'd recommend using iron spikes instead, which don't have normals.
Also, you don't need the 3 pink batteries; one supervolt is enough to power this bot.
I understand wanting to protect your wheels, but the additional mobility gained by having your wheels far apart will be worth more than the wheel protection.
This bot needs a frontal wedge, or else nothing will ever reach the spinner.
it does have a wedge, it just is a bit hard to see due to the in-game lighting and the camera angle
Chassis wedges are terrible, you need to put a wedge component on an extender attached to a green snapper.
So, like a flipper/VS hybrid?
The point of the snapper is to put pressure on the wedge so it gets under other bots. You can use it as a flipper hybrid, but you'll lose all pressure on the wedge when you fire the snapper If you actually want to get good at stock, I would just download a decent AI pack and learn from there. Starcore v3+v4, PYS AI, INF AI, ASAI are some of the available options.

Where is match?!
Round 1 matches are now up. Metal Crusher technically isn't DSL realistic as it's side hammers go completely through each other. If Thrackerzod's okay with it, I would prefer to change the end points so that they're more realistic and not intersecting. Either way though, it's not really a big deal and I don't think it would've affected the outcome of it's match vs Killerwhale.

I'm all in favor of a leader board system, but I feel it's just going be the same 6 people who always enter tournaments. Lack of tournament turnout, imo, is because of a low interest in general for RA2 and an oversaturation of smaller tournaments without any other large-scale offerings (BBEANS, Clash Cubes)
An official GTM tournament would be a good idea if decent hype was made around it. If it was something similar to what Kill suggested awhile then I would definitely be interested in it.

That's still bullsh**. I guess the judges considered aggression to mean "completely miss the other bot with your hammer".
The fact that Disco Inferno didn't get a wildcard and Lisa's giant red sand box got one really gangbangs my gopher. This Ministry of Truth "Selection Committee" is on some real weird sh** here. You can have your opinions about the Chomp vs Disco Inferno fight but you should atleast think that the loser should get another fight. Damn...
From what I've read, aggression is all about your main weapon, and if your main weapon fails your kinda SOL.
The Sawblaze vs Razorback desicion was just as bad if not worse imo. Razorback's a cool bot though, so I'm not too upset over it.

I'll check out garry's wars one of these days. I watch the streams every so often when they're on and it looks pretty cool.

Huh, seems like a low turnout, considering that the Stock tournament got 16 people...
I know next to nothing about good designs, so, uhh... Good luck to everyone who entered! And the byebot, best of luck (R.I.P.) to it.
Tournaments in general seem to be getting lower turnout. Probably has something to do with a lack of intrest/IRL stuff going. Everyone bailing on their tournaments probably didn't help matters either.

If there's actually nothing wrong with the bindings (which I highly doubt), then one of the bots might have a custom component somewhere. Doubt it though, since the bots would've crashed if TRB imported them to place smart zones and do the wiring.
