Signups are closed! I will update the OP tomorrow with recieved bots, and will probably check them tomorrow too. If any bots were rejected, I'll give an extra week to the builders to fix their bots.

Or we just boycott Artifact and hopefully make it sell like crap. Unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Still a shame that this is the road Valve have gone off too.
Artifact will be free to play and generate money via microtransactions. I guarantee that even if the west boycotts it, the Chinese Dota fans with too much money will dump their wallets on it, like they already do to Dota (and CSGO to a lesser extent)

Huh, I didn't realise that if you 'Preorder' you get the first 1/3 of the game now, like an early access with a fixed release date I guess. Just played the first 3 levels. Holy sh** this game is so much fun, even more than Quake, with it feels very similar to.
It's quite a bit easier than Quake though, I think. I've been playing on the hardest difficulty level, which only gives you 1hp, and I've only been stuck a few times, and only once for any significant period of time. It would probably be a lot more difficult (and frustrating) if you didn't use quicksave. I'd probably recommend on the 2nd highest difficult if you've played through Quake before.
But seriously, get this game if you enjoy old-school FPS at all.

You're gonna want to put some of the wedge edges (can't remember the exact name) on your front armour panels so your bot doesn't get outwedged by everything under the sun
