Who is redline?

I'm an RA2 oldtimer and probably well known for being an asshole. (You might be too, if you was on the internet at 7/8/9, and 'special')
Had a different name back then. Or for the first year, anyway.

Medicore robots despite starting over 5 years ago, the only one standing out being Big Flip, a HW popup.

BBEANS2 competitor - Double Damage MW.

Leave it to BBEANS to pull old veterans out of the woodwork!  Welcome back, hope to see you in BBEANS5.

(I use the term 'veteran' to mean 'time playing RA2', as Redline himself will admit he was never known for his bot-building skills.  Though Double Damage would have been a very strong entry if only it was invertible.)

Redline ..... now that name sounds familiar ......

Does his return mean I have to share my title of "Forum Asshole"? j/k

Good to have you back again, Redline.

Only things that are REALLY a PitA for the best popups are a better/well-placed wedge, belly caster armor, and crawler-like weaponry (including Mome Rath).

Also S32 your post doesn't makes any sense (even if i got it)

Or raw accelerated damage....

Anti Epic was a solid Pop Up of its time. Not saying other Pop Ups couldn't handle Rammers like Warhammer with ease. Just having fun showing an intense moment of RA2 Combat.

(And yes Warmachine has extensive belly caster armor, not that Anti Epic had a chance to attack. Just shows why its important for Pop-ups to have extra armor too.)

Thanks, but now I'm sensing sarcasm. :( I would of thought Pressure's Sabre would be better.

That, or the multibots aren't so good.

No, I like DDMW because the weapons are tougher. Those teeth on Sabre are pretty weak, and DDMW also has Better Armor, better drive, and is better built. Sabre is underweight and could have had better armor, but it didn't. DDMW also won a match.

Heh. I think I was going to have a second bar on both multibots, but Clickbeetle removed it because it clipped the battery.

---

Either way, I made a new multibot contender for BBEANS5. It's actually tough. The only problem is it's 400.5kg. (Summing up to 801kg)

Would the small weight out be allowed, or does it have to be exact, just like the ingame 800kg limit?

Forget it. The reason why didn't really work for my bot.

No, I just moved the bar from the bottom attachment point on the Perm to the top attachment point so it wouldn't intersect the motor.  All the actual components were kept the same.

Also, just in case the question comes up again: you can't have an 801 kg multibot any more than you can have an 801 kg single bot.

Close enough. Atleast for my memory. ^^;

I have decided on my BBEANS 5 bot, now all I need is someone willing to skin and AI it for me.

I was doing the driving, but I drove as much like AI would. I did not fight the rest of the HWs in down the teams list, because I got tired. And the others that are not on there, either win by points or complete defeat.

I'd rather have maces than irons on my 36-weap HS's, but whhen I try to eFFe them on, they always do this.
