Discuss Touhou here. there are currently 13 games in the series, minus the spin-offs and fangames. Which is your favourite and why? Who's your favourite character? Did you know Team Shanghai Alice is only one guy?

Start with EoSD on Easy Mode. It's still hard even then, but it'll give you a good feel for the game

Touhou Subterranean Animism,Because SotG Said in my thead.

Subterranean Animism is quite difficult compared to some of the others, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone coming into the game fresh

I think Touhou is easier than Ikaruga, I think that Touhou is easier than Dodonpachi Resurrection. In fact, I am pretty sure that Touhou is the easiest bullet game I have played. And that isn't me saying that I can complete it no problem, that is me saying that I find it easier to complete than Dodonpachi or Ikaruga. Although, I haven't actually played the full version of Ikaruga, and it probably gets harder. I can complete Touhou Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil on Normal, using a few continues. I can complete Dodonpachi Resurrection on Normal (I think it was normal) using a of a lot of continues. And I just about managed to beat the trial game of Ikaruga.

But all of the talks of difficulty are pointless because of the fact that this is a Touhou thread and not a general bullet thread.

I mainly like the spin-off fighting games, mostly 12.3: Hisoutensoku. Favourite character in there.. Tie between Youmu Konpaku and Komachi Onozuka.

Yes, I got up to level 4, just about, if I remember correctly. Have you ever tried Ikaruga on its hardest setting?
