Dantomkia.  Got this request from the builder Mike Lambert himself.  No completely happy with this one, but my internet went down about halfway through and I lost my source materials.  I can make it rear up by putting a handful of pennies in the back.

He wasn't even that smart in the show.

But he had the odd ability to make stuff like flowers appear out of thin air under the guise of "magic tricks"
SO
obviously redux version has limited telekinesis and/or teleportation. Cause teleportation in a climax fight would be awesomeeeee
Ah, so Wrong-context Magic, then. Unless they were part of a hobby or for decoration or something, why would you want the ability to make flowers appear, anyway? He'd basically be a reptilian version of Stanley from A Troll in Central Park.

But yes- those new ideas do sound pretty awesome.

They had wheelchair dragons as well? That's a first...

You know how it goes though, the one in the wheelchair has to be insanely smart and really good at everything except walking. I found out that Tvtropes calls it Handicapped Badass, which turned out to be a lot more PC then my guess, Cripple Sue.
Ah, yes- that particular kind of character-in-a-wheelchair is mainly based off Oracle, from the Batman comics.

Hmm... sounds like something to mold break-

I've already done it, haven't I?

Yes I have, with Itumeleng, who sucks at most subjects because he doesn't know Japanese, but strives for his independence with great vim and vigor

DJ Blu remake.
Took a while in Paint to vectorize and a bit shared between Powerpoint and Paint to make her hold her vinyl and her specs.

Or alternatively, a rather different country to their own- I for one, have a solid idea for an Eternal Alliance storyline in which they visit the Equestrian equivalent of Scotland.

Artwork thread, Sonny_Resetti's cardboard replicas thread
« Reply #1099 on: July 03, 2012, 07:52:46 PM »
Alright, here's the replica that I said would change Reier's mind about changing this thread title.  It was an ambitious project and I'm really proud of the final result.  Have a change of pants ready, because this is Sump Thing:

About a trillion pieces went into it, the axe mechanism is incredibly, you can see the piston-gears, look for those tiny silver bits.  The gears even have teeth on them!  The rust is a custom-made colour from so many different colours mixed together that I've lost track.  It was sponge-painted over a silver base coat to get the rust effect.  The entire thing is held together a chopstick-axle, in fact it's the same chopstick that gave 101 its spike, waste not, want not.  Pretty much everything was free-form drawn, The claws and the holes in them, the forklift, etc.  This one's my best yet, it's going into the "not for sale group" along with Destructabbule, 259, and V3.
