I have many reasons to claim that snapper wedges are better than axle ones.

Actually, I was thinking of putting a :):) in an :):):):):) with RPB and NWB in a team match. Evil!

Oh, 3 2 1... blast off does the same with RPB, but Maelstrom(SCv4) beats NWB.

PODA
Can go any way, but my moneys on H@z.

PODB
obZen. Small wedges own.

PODC
Snapper wedges kill anything else. HnM is the clear winner

PODD
Most likely the hardest to chose a winner. One with durable weapons, one with a proven weapon, and the last with a superior wedge. Any things possible.

PODE
Haunt's a scary bot, but Jules makes some of the best DSL bots. Jules will most likely win.

PODF
Simply put, Far  Cry has the upper hand, iceblast's weapon most likely takes forever to get up to speed, and HoHohammers has no wedge. Kill will certainly win.

The one I entered has gotten under Smashbox, so I think I can get under HnM too but it will probably beat me.

PodA: SA probably didn't hide a snapper/metal hinge/axle wedge on the lower wedge... Urjak and Haz have both axle wedges. They're both fast, but Archy has a MUCH slower spinup time than Purple Pest and is probably less stable (because of huge ass weapon and taller). I pick winner = Urjak

PodB: PoM hasn't the weapons/the wedge to stand up to both of Panther and obZen, and i can see obZen having issues getting under panther, and losing it's weapons. I pick winner = courthousedoc (although R0B0 might do this too)

PodC: Wham's slow SnS will get eaten alive by the two other powerhouses of the pod. HnM usually beats Mako, so think i have my chances. I pick winner = myself (AND because i'm the best builder of the three obviously. Bow before me)

PodD: With three fast bots and two gut-rippers, the fate of this match relies on the wedge. And in the wedge department, Crashman > FMLAF > MD8. I pick winner = R1885.

PodE: Tlee's bot doesn't even counts. The other... well it's a HS against a VS, and HS usually own VS, BUT it's Somebody against Jules and we know Jules IS better.
I still pick winner = Somebody just because i can see Corruptor failing at pinning Haunt and losing a hammer.

PodF: Ice Blast doesn't counts. And i can see Sage's really low poker NOT being lifted by Kill's really high VS, and Kill losing a hammer. Plus Sage's is faster. Might be another MDIII VS Far Cry. I pick winner = Sage.

Pod A: VS VS VS VS VS. Heh. Purple Pest might lose, having a single weapon, but may get the upper-hand with his better spin-up time. If Flames from Under and Archy VI: The Resurrection go after each other Flames from under might win. This is rather tight...

Pod B: I have doubts about Naryar's statement. That Turret VS from Philletbabe could cause problems for obZen if he drives like a bitch. But ObZen is a powerful popup...

Pod C: I'm thinking that Chuzzle is more than meets the eye. I hope I'm wrong. Destroyer can cause major damage to HnM if Naryar's bot does the thing that they are famous for...

Pod D: I'm beginning to think I won't win a single round here. My FS vs an Armoured poker, then a Juggler? I know I'm screwed. R8115 for the win.

Pod E: Immortal Corrupter will win here. End of. (Haunt will win too, but will still lose.)

Pod F: I see HoHoHammers as a dark Horse. Ice Blast won't get out alive......

Yeah, I'm wondering if Chuzzle has anything hidden on it. But I think that it will lose because Naryar has a good bot, and it will be pretty easy for mine to get under it and throw it around.

The only big flaw mine has is weak armor [I think it is 1 mm Titanium], but other than that it works pretty well. I just think that I should remake it with heavier hammers sometime.

[EDIT]

I just tested the one I entered against Mako and Smashbox, and it is capable of getting under and beating both of them. But I feel like the Wedges were too far apart.

I also just built a new version of it, and has a smaller body, heavier hammers, and better wedges that almost always got under Smashbox when I tested it. I wish I would of entered the new one, but I guess I'll save that one for the next DSL HW tournament.

Working on vids as we speak, im at Pod C at the mo, woo!
All im saying so far about the tourny is i'll be back next series with a better bot...
I hope to have Pod C done soon, then uploaded A-C on YouTube, so let the fights begin!
Not very suprising on winners for Quaters so far, altough there is 1 very suprising winner of a pod...
Plus, here is the format for the tourny:

Pods(18)-1st Place Quaters(12)-Semi-(6)------------Final(4)
Pods(18)-2nd Place Quaters(12)-^-Semi Losers Pod(3)-^
The numbers in the brackets are how many robots are in each round (18 for pods, 12 for quaters, 6 for Semis, 3 for Losers Pod and 4 for the final)

Yes folks, things are going to get quite bumpy.
Plus, if in a pod all 3 robots win a fight each (so a tie) the 1st place and 2nd place winners will be decided by who got the most points in thier winning fights (but if a bot gets 2 wins and another gets 1 then thats that, if you know what i mean)
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?
