u can only do 16 bots for ur first tourney

Before even considering starting a tournament one should read both the management and sign up requirement threads

Scourge, you don't HAVE to join into your own tournament... And AW or BW is good way to host first tournament.

Hell no.  Stock AW and BW are boring.

Probably the worst way to start the first tournament because it won't get popular vote.  You don't have to take my word for it, you can check the history yourself.

Stock HW or DSL HW is definitely the best way to go with a first tournament.

Stock AW and BW are boring.

It looks like I'll be needing more help than just with the Havok Rule, AI'ing and stuff... if I can't even conform to the rules, and end up making Joe angry

So, uh, here's a revised edition:

Quote from: Tournament signup thingy
Crown Tourney

Weight Class: Stock HeavyWeight

Rules
- cheatbot2 is not allowed
- Any bot type
- Soft Spots are the only allowed glitch
- Allowed three major Havoks before being disqualified
- Single Elimination (Randomised brackets)
- 16 spots

Prizes:
1st Place would get:
- Up to two decals of their choice
- A place in my next tourney (if I do another one)
- A full-color picture with background of their choice
- A special promo art to do with the Crown Tourney

2nd Place would get:
- A decal of their choice
- A place in my next Tourney (if I do another one)
- A fullbody-color picture with no background of their choice

3rd Place would get:
- A place in my next Tourney

DSL lw pwease
It's gonna be a Stock HW tourney

Soft Spots?
I'm guessing not realistic?
Multibots allowed?
What arena?

There's a lot more, but it's tiring.

You're not sucking, you just forgot to cover some bases from ACAMS' set of rules:

-If Multibots are allowed/their Max weight/if one is out are both out
-Type of bots allowed/disallowed (some people have strong opinions on crawlers, popups, and SnS so make sure you're clear.)
-If Multibots are allowed/their Max weight/if one is out are both out
-Arena to be used/Arena hazards on or off.
-Nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted
-State if bots can be upgraded, and how may times/until when, and if bot type can be changed

make things easy..

you simply must meet all of these rules

https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,3154.0.html

beyond that you can make up any other rules you like
