[Edit] I also can't figure out M.A.D. Machine's weapon setup.

Long story short, I got lazy... I hacked the bot together in about 15 mins.  I could not get the extenders to allow me to point all the Irons outward, so i just just threw on a bunch of extenders that would allow me to put as many irons as the weight limit would allow. Looks messy, yes...  I probably could have done a much better job on the bot if I didn't rush it.  It will most likely fall to the Popup... unless the smartzone triggers at just the right time so the popup gets a mouthful of caster armour, it might stand a chance.

Very nice matches - one complaint though: use the zoom camera please.

And how the heck is Wayward Soul so damn powerful ? I felt like it was a Beta Burst flipper :O

EDIT: I still laugh at poor R0B0 getting catapulted OOTA...

What the heck arena were you using? I couldn't see anything that went on at all.

Also, there is no way in heck that Tornado, or any other bot for that matter, could fly that high.

The arena was the DSL Blade Arena ( as specified on page one) i used the camera angle that MV told me to film at

So can anyone tell me why a stock tourney is being held in a DSL arena? If MV has the bots in DSL, then everything is unbalanced because of stock/DSL mixing.

I don't know about MV but I imported the DSL Blade Arena into my Stock RA2 to avoid such a problem

I thought it woul be fun to mix things up by combining them both also I'm sorry about the camera angle I don't know what other camera angles to use don't worry I will be using the orbit cam on the final match!

Well, if MV has indeed mixed Stock and DSL, I think the match that he filmed should be voided and re-done properly, because of any imbalances in the components. Not for my match, but for the fairness of the people who lost. Stock should stay with stock and DSL with DSL.

I was really under the impression that the tourney was going to be 1-on-1 fights in a Stock arena. If I had known that you could go OOTA quite easily, I wouldn't have entered a somewhat glitchy and unstable bot.

Also, please use a different filming angle. The one that is being used is perhaps the worst angle to use. It distorts the bots and completely screws up the depth, making it nearly impossible to see what's going on.

Yes, he mixed stock and DSL - okay, that was a major fail.

Anyways i have nothing against the arena (one of my favorites, excepted for that crappy static cam placement), but yes MV, you should re-do the matches in Stock.

And yes, you should have said it was the DSL blade arena.

No, JoeBlo filmed mine, and he told me that he didn't mix stock and DSL, so I'm fine with my loss. I just thought something was up when I saw how high Tornado flew, but then I did some experimentation and found that it was just a simple camera trick, because the Blade arena's static cam sucks. I should have read the rules more carefully and entered a more stable bot >.>

I only just watched the matches now and I must say I'm full of Underestimated Dark Horses, nobody had faith in my brawl of the builders bot because it lacked wedges yet it was able to manhandle them and now the only static wedged pop up :-D I sure hope MV did record these in stock and there is no need for a do over

only major problem with the video MV filmed was no HUD it would have been nice to see the health of the bots and when they are eliminated

Right ok fine, i only did it beacuse i thought it wouldn't make a difference but obviously it does, i will have to import the blade arena to stock then, how do i do that? and what angle would you suggest?

P.S. Give me a chance, this is my first tournament and i had no idea that the arena in DSL would make a difference, sorry.
