No, you can import BEAR, Ninja, etc without AI parts & it works fine.
And those are skinned wedges, not custom components, methinks.

All of the parts that I have used on TORNADO (my entry) are un-skinned, it was built entirely in the bot lab, and it uses no custom components, smartzones, AI, etc. It is an 18-mace dual HPZ spinner that can be seen here and uses Omni.py as an AI line. I sent it to Inf for his AI pack and as far as I know, he's had no problems with it. I've also used it in numerous online matches without any crashes, and it works AI'ed and not in numerous versions of my games, all of which are un-modded, with the exeption of skinned snowplows, E-wedges, and small wedges on the version of RA2 I didn't build TORNADO on.

I've triple-checked it. There is nothing wrong with the bot I sent you.

Perhaps MetalikVyper should check if the bot file is in the right place? or that the bindings line is in the right place? no double spaces accidentally put in ? (I know that caused many problems for me with Man Manu's Entry in the last clash cubes)

I have mads smrtzones installed as suggested and other bots with them work fine, i have checked the AI line i have recived from R0B0SH4RK it looks fine and if he says he triple checked then there is obviously nothing wrong with it, i have even got tid of all of the spaces in the AI line which may be double spaces, it still dosen't work and i'm still getting this error message:

We will get to the bottom oh this people, we just need to troubleshoot together.
I blame physics.

If you're able to import it into the botlab, that the problem is in the AI.py or bindings (both of which I doubt)... but if it doesn't work and there are no custom components, the bot file was transfered too many times and at some point became corrupt (meaning you just need the bot file to be resent to you).

This is the bot file with the bindings that I sent to him:

If anyone can find what's wrong, it would be great, because at this point, I'm pretty much clueless.

I look at the bindings now and you're right. That was the exact line I copied from my game that worked fine though. Oh well, thanks for catching it. I feel completely stupid for not seeing that massive error >.>

Curious...

Any reason why I was never on the entry list or I was never notified about having to submit a bot?

reinstall ??? before trying to fix the problem I installed a fresh copy and applied the 1.3 patch .... that's it then added tornado in... I did get the same problem you described before but then after I wrote out that line it was working fine. maybe send me a copy of your AI file in the form of a .rar or .zip via pm and I will see what I can do

Ok i re-installed but didnt apply the 1.3 patch beacuse i couldn't find it, i started the game once ot check it worked then immediatley i replaced Bot0 of Team0 and replaced scouts bindings with tornados (the bindings JoeBlo gave me) bindings in the bindings.py file, i then checked it all over so there were no errors i start the game it works fine, i try to start a match with me Vs. Tornado (me using one of the bots that come with the game when first installed) and guess what, exactly the same problem. >:(
I blame physics.
