still waiting for that one and final bot! I also have reskinned the BBEANS arena again. there will be 48 bots in total, so the format will be:
Round 1 - 16 bouts of 3 bots
Round 2 - 16 bouts of 2
Round 3 - 8 bouts of 2
Final - Riot Round of 4

Also along side, there will be support fights, in case the Robot Rampage battles aren't enough!

3-way fights? I would have prefered 2-way fights because two of my bots are more suited for duels, but the third is a HS so it's alright.

Don't expect absolutely killer bots - i went for originality on this one (they're still decent)

I must build the third, then AI them - it will be done this weekend, DF.

Bot editing to an extent is fine; not drastic modifications(e.g. making a 700kg bot a middleweight, etc.) but a little tweak is fine Naryar.

I sent mine, and frankly, bot-file editing shouldn't be allowed because it isn't fair.

Very true. Not everyone knows how to do it, so like Somebody said, people who do will have an unfair advantage.

Bot-file editing, no matter what the reason, is cheating. If you want to do it in your own game for your enjoyment, that's not a problem - doing it for a tourney, that's a problem.

However, that's just me, and I'm only one voice in the cast of thousands .....

this is not really a serious tournament, it is more of an entertainment show. And yes, it could be seen as cheating, but only a minor change in my view is alright for this series, and only for one bot (i hope). Sorry guys.

No, because everybody had a chance to send in as many bots as they wanted to. You could have sent in seven bots. But you didn't. Not all of us have the chance of Bot-file Editing.

perhaps in the time he took to learn bot file editing you built the seven bots? you don't have the chance because you took your time in building bots, not messing with their numbers. you had just as much of a chance as he did. so he had the time to make seven bots, but instead learned .bot file editing. for you it is vice versa.

I still don't think that it is fair. But I am not going to be that mad about it (unless one of naryar's bots wins because it can fit under everything)
