Goodbye Blue Sky vs. Morse Code Breaker
Winner = Goodbye Blue Sky
Why = Morse Code Breaker's drive looks much too slow to get philetbabe's tank into the saws. GBS will maul its way to either a KO or a WBP.

obZen vs. Deprivator
Winner = obZen
Why = On popups, the wedges are key. Deprivator looks like it has a pretty poor one.

Thor 3 vs. Archimandrite V
Winner = Archimandrite V
Why = In this battle, Thor can't afford to ride up the wedges of H@zm47's bot. If it dosen't, it has a much better chance.

T O R Q U E vs. Hum Drums
Winner = T O R Q U E
Why = Hum Drums pose little threat to T O R Q U E, because of the general lack of weaponry, and their comparatively light weight will cause very little recoil. Hell, Gigafrost might even send one of 'em OOTA.

Steel Meatball vs. Lousy Launcher
Winner = Steel Meatball
Why = Lousy Launcher gets some awful luck here, drawing potentially its greatest weakness. LL might win a match, but the Meatball should grate it like some cheese.

Lu-Tze vs. Infernal Contraption
Winner = Infernal Contraption
Why = This match too will come down to the wedges, and InfCon's are probably better. This might be the most exiting match of the first round.

Mako 4 vs. Destroyer
Winner = Destroyer
Why = Mako 4's reach is far too short to even touch Destroyer, but if the fight persists and Destroyer loses a hammer, the fight is all but Mako's.

BLAH vs. P-AI-Daisy Might_50
Winner = P-AI-Daisy Might_50
Why = When BLAH gets up to speed, it'll be a scary bot. And in this match it probably will. The force of that initial impact might be so great that one of the bots goes OOTA. Daisy Might_50, however, has two more 60kg hammers than BLAH, and with BLAH's weight distribution, as soon as its first hammer goes, it'll Mauler-dance like crazy.

Speed King vs. Classy Paintjob
Winner = Speed King
Why = When Classy Paintjob loses a hammer, it will gyro dance, leaving that big chassis open for attack.

Pinball vs. Facemelikeaman
Winner = Pinball
Why = As long as Pinball stays in the arena, FMLAM is gonna get pounded. Being the lightest bot in the competition won't help FMLAM either.

Far Cry 2 vs. Shadow
Winner = Far Cry 2
Why = Far Cry's wedges might be some of the best in the tourney. I'm not even sure that Shadow's wedge even counts as a wedge. Shadow's out-wedged, out-armoured, out-driven, and out-weaponed here. This could be a quick match.

OMG!! The disk of Archimandrite will not toucn Thor's chassis because of the the strong titanium sheets. The spinners reach off of the wedges anyway.

Why do I have to face you now? Your bot seems like the perfect counter for my bot, unless I can get under you and hope to god you OOTA (which may happen once if luck is on my side which it clearly isn't).

I think I can beat Mako 4 if I get some good hits in, but I am more worried about my weapon being strong enough to throw me out of the arena than I am about Mako.

I also think that if I flip it over I could win, because i don't really see anything that can self right it.

I am still wondering how well my design, and Jules' design will work in the fight.

Mine is really simple, and I used those bars instead of a wedge because it would be simpler to design than the wedge system, and it is also a smaller target than the wedge on bots like the first Mako would be.

But Jules made a really complex design that looks good, but there are just a lot of parts that could be broken off. And I think that all of those would be an easy target for another VS to grab onto and throw it around.

Although, his has a better defense than mine, because all I have is 3mm Titanium armor, and the bar don't absorb the impact like the wedges on Mako 1 would.

Shadow (looks way too unstable and I think I can get under it easily)

Robots I have a chance at beating if I'm lucky
Mako 4 (If I can get underneath it)
Archi (Again, the weapon will be easily avoidable, should I get underneath)
Speed King (Depends how things go)
Destroyer (The body is begging to be clawed)
Thor 3 (Wedges again)
Lut Ze (Same as Thor)
Pinball (Same as Speed King)
PSI (Same as Thor)
Deprivator (Same as Thor)
Humdrums (Is that a clusterbot? It all depends on how good their weapon is)
Mutant Dragonfly

Robots that'll own me
Goodbye Blue Sky (Tracks take forever to knock off and those weapons look deadly)
Infernal Contraption (Even if I get underneath it, that weapon could probably still hit me. And I might have to face it *gulp*)
Far Cry (There's no way I'm getting under that thing)

Morse Code Breaker (Gammaraze is hard. I don't want to think about what this'll be like)

Hehe. You guys have no idea how good Skurge is? Well...I can't blame you. It looks basic and neither of the videos I have of it demonstrate how good it is...But it's my second best damage scoring robot. The first is a remake of Triclops, but I didn't want to enter that. My best actual robot is a flipper called Flack, but unless I'm actually controlling it, it'll probably get owned.

Ahem... Anyway, he's going to have a spinup time of a miute and a half, there's no way not to with that kind of bot. Especially with 6Mags, they don't work very well on carge spinners. I don't know about bar spinners but I bet he's still going to have a hard time getting up to speed. Plus, those wheels are obvious targets.

He's going to have a maximum spinup time of about 15 seconds.But at 5 seconds spinning, he'll still be very damaging.

Chained 6 Mag gearboxes spin slowly, right, but a blow of it to one of your MW's is going to send it flying. OOTA or at the other side of the arena. But T O R Q U E's spinner isn't going to be stopped by one blow, just slowed down, and the time the other multibot attacks, he'll still take a nasty blow.

If you win this match, you'll be very lucky.

BTW Giga, how does it perform against two middleweights?

You seriously think your huge chassis will escape unharmed from a collision with my weapon (how would you avoid that

???). I suppose you put "if I'm lucky" there but that's beside the point. Getting underneath him from the front is nearly impossible but you may have more luck around the sides...
Luck rarely happens in RA2.
