Actually it's bright pastel colour-based. Though I will admit the name is pony-related...are you really not going to enter a tournament because of the name?

It's got nothing to do with ponies, besides the name. It just excludes the most commonly used components, and introduces a splash of colour to proceedings. Which I am all for, personally. =)

You could always paint it pastel black.

(NOT gray, pastel black. There's a difference if you imagine hard enough.)

This tournament seems to have quite a high level of interest. It'll be interesting to see what people do without their favorite weapons. I haven't heard spike strips mentioned yet--those used to be the weapon of choice for popups back in the day, and could see a revival here.
