@ LRA2 you obviously didn't build to the requirments so build another bot or drop out.

Obviously you are handicape and can't read so I put it in bright colors:all the caps lock in the world wonk make your bot work, how about you try building another robot as yours inst a jousting robot it is a poker it isn't going to do anything against the other robots__________________

Stop wasting his time and just build another Freakin bot:angry:. it's not that hard I built mine in an hour and it meets all the requirments.Are you really going to make him go out his way to make a Py file because you "FAIL" to follow the instructions to build a Jousting bot. If you are talking about a different bot then I apologize but if you are still talking about the same bot then seriously "Make A New Bot that fits the instructions".

all entry's are going to follow a very similar AI system as I am trying to eliminate as many variables as possible so this tournament comes down to bots, I cant actually see your idea being very effective given how fast the other bots will be traveling in comparison, you best bet is to take some time and build another, I haven't even set a due date for bots yet

in other news 9 places are still open for anyone who wants to join (I think a few people were still deciding on it) so if you name isnt on the first post and you would like it to be then let me know :-D

ok LRA2 mad solved your bots problem (not sure if he told you or not) but yeah.. are your sure you still dont want to use something else ? as I said before all robots are going to be AI'd very similar. Let me know

also 24 entrants still 8 places if anyone wants to join ??? (hopefully a few more and I can throw in 1 or 2 "house" robots to make numbers) I will leave it with a bit more time given a have a lot of stuff I have to catch up with

Sooo... all of the bots must be side hammers, without hybrid possibility ?

And about fights... it's just one collision about bots, and the fight is over (in less than 5 seconds) (Technically only the horseback part of a real joust), fight repeated 3 times ?

I made a points based system for a 3 round match and there is no limit to your bot type the only thing is that a burst must be what brings your choice weapon into the path of the other robot (or as I explained before over the wall)

currently sitting on 24 which is enough to make a bracket out of

JD did say he would think about joining this if he saw a video (which has been posted) but I haven't heard anything and 25 would be a difficult number, so here is what will happen

entry's will now close at 24

if JD or anyone else wants to join I will need at least another 5 people before expanding to 32 and I need to be notified before 12:00 Noon Wednesday (GMT+8)
