You need to work on your navbar so it is included in each and every page.....I made you a navbar.php and you just need to update each link as you add a new tourney and then in each page you make have this line

Code: [Select]
<?
include("navbar.php");
?>

OH.....I see what you did...navbarRAW.php...navbarGUMBA.php........you don't want to do that, have ONE NAVBAR and update/add links so it is on every page, even brackets so you can one click where ever you want to go.

but why would i want the RAW brackets in the gumba page? or vice versa?

(i see what you're saying though. sorry, i had to learn everything by myself, didnt know exactly what i was doing :P)

Explain to me why I didn't enter this again?

Btw, the R1885-Madiaba fight was really funny. Spaz-bot!

About what I expected. I never really though I was gonna have a chance, just backing up winning most optimistic . Naryar, I can think of 1 good reason why Cataclysm should be in your AI pack, and that is because I have fought with Smashy hundreds of times against RAW bots, AI bots, etc. and not a single one has EVER removed the bar, without the hammers having come off first. Oh well, maybe Cutinator will do better.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Good Work! The battles are fun to watch. I never played DSL, but the bots look like they have a hard time doing damage to each other, certainly makes for riveting stuff.

Bravo.

You want the navbar on every page....do this by putting that code on every page and update the navbar.php every time you add a page.

BESIDES.......you were supposed to get a new account for GUMBA

Jules: Yea, the bots are well built and tough for sure.

Quote from: R1885;30654
Despite it not working correctly,....
R1885: This bot was allot of work to AI. But I finally got it to work well (as CB also noted).

The difficulty was because:
1. its mass in general is centralized,
2. the motors are powerful,
3. they're extended out, away from the chassis.

Therefore whenever the AI.py tells it to 'turn', the power and resulting angular momentum cause it to severely 'over-steer',... which renders a 'Rammer' virtually useless...

I tried very hard to make it work well, which I think it does. But if I didn't AI it how you wanted it to work, tell me how it's supposed to work, which AI.py to use, and it's parameters, and I'll redo your match (since I was you're opponent, NP).
But I need it by tomorrow.

(I'm willing to do this for a wrong-functioning bot, but I don't want to, nor expect to, hear any frivilous complaining about AI-ing from others...)
Input is appreciated. :)
-Arrogance is a quantity devoid of quality...

-Relationships these days are like the 'Arrival' section of the airport: a lot of baggage is being revealed in one place, and not a lot of it is being correlated to its real owners...

AND you shouldn't. I actually thought that Quickman was AIed very well for how fast and uncontrolable the bot is.

Well, I have bean testing, and it seems it works best with Pusher AI
but still, SkinHead would have own me any way, even with pusher AI.

And even so, I have to face Sombody any way. So Quick is already singing its Swan Song.

The point of Quickman in GUMBA is so it can give entertaining fights. Winning was just if it can. I am still happy that it gave some good fights.

BTW, its seems Mad that I'm still facing you (With Gyroman), and again with the one bot that counters mine.

"Loser's Bracket" and vids are coming up...

--------
Nar: Here is the Bindings settings:
list.append(("Iron Fist 3","Poker",{'invertible':True, 'nose':math.pi, 'radius':0.1, 'topspeed':100, 'throttle':130, 'turn':60, 'turnspeed':2.5, 'weapons': (8,)}))

As one who's AI-ed a ton of conventional bots to do what they're supposed to (like R1885's in this tourney), and another ton of unconventional bots to do very unconventional things(see 'Mad's Mods' thread), I know that for whatever reason sometimes a bot just doesn't do everything it should. My LW bot has an evasive tactic that will evade the opponent at a certain time and when it's ahead in points. But, as you may have noticed it started avoiding the opponent while it was still behind and subsequently lost by points....duh! Sometimes they head for the wall, or turn around in circles... Available Power, and component type and level of Damage, may play into this, but still... It is what it is. I've some theories as to why, but my forte is not C++ and I've not seen a good, clean rendition of the exe anyway. If we had the Source code I'll bet Serge could probably find this issue.

Pt.: You'll see what I mean, as you and others, start to AI your own bots(which would be much appreciated).
Input is appreciated. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the game was made in order to have the AI mess up every now and then.
Either way, you guys should stop being ungrateful. These guys are running a tournament they didn't start and it is obvious that a lot of thought went into the Ai-ing.

Having seen the first fights, i think Urjak HW Vexxed may be winner,
and for the LW ... perhaps Iron fist

I've been surprised about the easy way skinhead self-right

mako like have been a little bit disapointing here, even if there are still frightening opponents.

LW Hammer mounted bots seems to have most builder's predilection. is it because they give both strenght and protection ?
