I also have a tendency to do that as well. I think it actually helps, if I go into something with very little confidence, and I do well, it's a nice surprise. If I go into something with a lot of confidence and I do badly, then it's somewhat upsetting. But if I have no confidence and I do badly, it's kind of what I expected. So having no confidence means I can only meet or exceed my expectations. Or be eliminated in the most lulzy way possible, like in BTTB1. =D

Spent hours trying to get it so that it doesn't frontflip/backflip when it enters the wedge war, but I've done it..I hope.

And I bet it has AGOD too...xD

I am quite surprised that my bot hasn't AGOD at all so far. Considering its crazy hinged stuff and wedges, I thought it'd be all over the place.

I'm sorry to hear that Joe, but I do understand.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've never been renowned for my spectacular wedges.
That, and I might have an idea for an anti-wedge system for my robot  :P

TESTING UPDATE:

Having swapped the old razors for something different, performance has improved drastically- the robot has become incredibly good at pushing from the side whilst simultaneously doing damage constantly, trapping wedges on its scoop front, and is pretty fast and durable to boot. Something of a lightning bruiser, almost.

Normally I don't like bragging and up playing my bots because it comes off as cockey but GF is bragging again and I'd like to knock him back a few notches...

My bot has about as many weapons as Valid Query II and as much drive as it. It can take off a 50KG sledge hammer on the initial box rush. But watch it lose first round now because I said all the above crap. So there GF...  :P
