I'm planning 8 bots per heat, which would mean 28 fights per heat. This OK with everyone?

Should be. Just a pity that I can't use Judge or Lifter motors- I've some good IRL designs in mind that use them.

I love it. I tried to make a horizontal clampbot as one of my bots. Never thought of doing it that way though.

Makes me feel better because my submitted bots are really realistic and not very combat effective. I am glad to see that yours follows along with that too. Should be an interesting tourney if everyone follows along with form over function.

Probably going to lose quickly. Not only the weapons face the wrong way, barely doing any damage by clamping, but IIRC the exposed linear actuators have only 400 HP.

Nary, Its not meant to be combat effective it's meant to be purely for looks.

Im guessing you already read that but im repeating it just incase.
