I can't wait for BBEANS 4, it will be my first. Two questions:
1. How long do we have to register (I didn't find the website until after BBEANS 3 ended)

2. When is DSL 2.1 coming out, because I am waiting to download DSL so I can get the pack that is fixed. I am still playing stock :x, so once I download it, I will need time to build a good MW before the tourney

If you download the actual version now, you will have time to get used to it. It might be easier to build a good bot in 2.1, when you have got some trainig on the old version first. DSL 2.1 will not be that much different from 2.0.

I'm not sure that I want to deal with all of the bugs, now that I know how much better DSL 2.1 is than DSL 2.0. Wait, can you download 2.0 on top of 2.1?? And I have played Stock for a while, so I am pretty good at bot building. I built something along the lines of a walker in Stock, But it is mostly discs with extenders on trhem, and the armor plates on the ends. There are 4 of them, and they are on redbirds, with a Z-Tek, a tribar, and 3 razor tips for a weapon. It is called Caterpillar 4 (The first 3 had different kinds of walking systems that didn't work. I can't post a pic because I don't know how to get it out of my game and post it here.

My DSL 2.0 doesn't have any bugs. I don't think you can load 2.1 on top of a former version. Make some copies of the game and name them differently. So you can have several versions availible. I have fife of them. (original, Starcore 2, Starcore 3, DSL 2.0 and one spare for the future DSL 2.1 :biggrin:)

This should be actually in the tech support, but anyway.
There are many ways to post a pic out of the game. There is a built in function for this, but I never use it (I'm not sure, if it is the F10 key). However it is in the tutorial file, that comes with the game.
I use Paint, because I usually don't like post the whole screenshots.
Press the "print screen" key - go to Paint - press "control and V" (will past the pic into Paint)- cut out the part of the screenshot you want to post - safe it in any folder you want, or on the desktop - go to the GTM image uploader (here, on the home page) or to any other external uploader (I use Imageshack) - upload the file - copy paste the link you get from there, in the text of your post - done.
Impotant: If you do it the first time, use the preview in the "go advanced", just to check, if your pics appear correctly, before you press the replay button.

Thanks about the screenshots Cooker. Is it DSL 1 or 2 where the Ocean Arena is messed up? Good Idea about the multiple games, I might get my own showcawse soon, I'm not sure. All my bots are stock, and they fight against stock bots. I will see if the screenshot thing works first. Where is that Paint thing you mentioned. Is it on GTM, or somewhere else?

Something else, was BBEANS2 a DSL tourney?:?:?:?

Paint is a part of Windows, you will find it in Start - All Programmes - Accessories.

Clickbeetle mentions that he fixes the Ocean Platform and Compressor arena events(Thats what I meant when I said "fix the Ocean Arena", sorry). I found paint, thanks, I will probably start a showcase soon.

Cooker: 2 things

1. Where is that tutorial you mentioned (I only run stock, so if it is in some other pack, tell me)

2. I tried the F buttons for the screenshot thing. Nothing happened besides on one of them (eithr F11 or F12) A green grid formed around my robot (I was in the bot lab) does it only work in battles?

When you press F11, is anything supposed to happen?
Also, I can't find the folder it mentions.

P.S. If you are playing stock like I am, press F12 during a fight. There will be a grid on everything, along with you getting to see the smartzones of hazards and other robots

F11 takes a screenshot (it doesn't make a noise or change the screen when you press it) that is found in a folder called "ScreenShots" (the folder is made inside of your RA2 directory after you take a picture).

The F9, F10, and F12 features are from the 1.3 patch.
