It was an FS, those are not IRL bots.

To elaborate a bit; face spinner designs have certainly exist IRL. (http://robotcombat.com/images/bblv00/unknown17.jpg "Grunion" competed at Battlebots 2.0 as a lightweight, it was more of a grinding disc, but still.) However, the very long extending spikes on GTG's design aren't realistic as they would most likely buckle quite quickly in battle in the real world, and to be fair it was just GTG taking advantage of how Ra2 works.

The shell spinners were as cheap as, if not, more than Garv's bot. "Dog Collar" shell don't exist because it would be easier to use anything else.
Not only were they as flawed as Garv's FS, A person has also noted the fact that they were high tier designs. Both people who entered Sheck spinners didn't care for the IRL segment and are getting away with it for not being garvin.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Let me write it: Robots must look as close to IRL designs as possible. (No overabundance of weapons, unrealistic weapon sizes, disproportionate designs.)

These are exactly what IRL should entail, IMHO - I just hadn't come up with a way of paraphrasing it. This is a very well worded idea.
My above post explains everything about everything.

Heavy Metal: Champion (Mockery of the Whole Concept)
Robotic International Wars Series 1: Champion (Minifridge 6)
RA2 Team Championships 1 & 2: Champion (High Speed Train & Upthrust - as part of Naryar's Not Quite Evil Council of Doom)

Runner Up in: The Amazing Rage (Team Fedex), R0B0NOVA (Zaphod Stock), Steel Warzone (Inception of Instability), Box of Nightmares (Gicquel), Wheely Tag (Minifridge the Second)

Clash Cubes IV: 5th place (Fretless)

For the record US featherweight shell spinne Steel Shadow has at least 12 impact teeth, Phrizbee and Megabyte both had large amounts of small teeth. IMHO it's more unrealistic to have two 70kg hammers than a large amount of small DS teeth.
